Introducing Denise Lamby, Mixed Media, Sculpture, Textile Artist

De will be showcasing at the Sunshine Coast Art & Design Fair 2025. De Lamby Wulff is an international award-winning Australian artist working outside the ordinary, finding beauty in what others discard. She transforms reclaimed materials—plastic, paper, teabags, textiles and aluminium can tabs—into unexpected forms through repetition and labour-intensive techniques that invite close inspection.

Each work is an act of reinvention, driven by a commitment to recycle, upcycle or repurpose. By intercepting materials destined for landfill, she challenges viewers to see hidden potential in the everyday. Her practice aims to surprise, connect, and inspire a lighter footprint—encouraging audiences to recognise fragments of their own lives in the stories her artworks quietly tell.

Art & Design Fair!

Introducing Elisabeth Lawrence who will be showcasing at the Sunshine Coast Art & Design Fair 2025.

Elisabeth is a contemporary painter and printmaker who grew up with an instinctual love for painting. She has fond memories of sitting in the garden as a young girl with her Mother sketching, painting and talking. Then as an adult, once her own domestic responsibilities of raising her children diminished, Elisabeth
focused full time on her own studio practices. Soon she was represented in galleries and her works started to become selected in local and national art awards.

More recently Elisabeth has emerged herself into printmaking. She fell in love with copper etching while studying printmaking at the Brisbane Institute of Art. A second-hand press was purchased and after a much needed renovation it is now a loved addition to her studio.

Elisabeth lives in Maleny and she now divides her time between painting and printmaking. Her works are often described as whimsical, as she combines the
comical behaviour of animals with everyday objects in an imaginative situation to tell her stories as she sees them.

Something a little Different Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of November 2025

Introducing Remade Sunshine Coast showcasing at the Sunshine Coast Art & Design Fair 2025.

Marie Shannon creates beautiful woven copper light shades, wall hangings, lanterns, baskets as well as gorgeous hand-forged sterling silver jewellery and wearable art.

Her unique pieces are created by combining sterling silver and recycled copper wire, with glass beads and stones sourced from deconstructed old or broken jewellery, she saves from becoming landfill.

Marie is an emerging artist who is continually creating new sculptural art ideas with copper and beads while also still producing affordable fun and quirky jewellery pieces.

Her studio is set in rainforest with beautiful valley views and an abundance of wildlife.

Introducing Cara Loconte Fine Art who will be showcasing at the Sunshine Coast Art & Design Fair 2025.

Cara Loconte is a professional artist and art mentor with Milan Art Institute. Her work is a powerful celebration of body positivity and the beauty of nature.

Passionate about encouraging self-love and acceptance, Cara believes that the human body, like nature, is inherently beautiful. "We come into the world naked and gorgeous, but somewhere along the way, we are taught to loathe ourselves," she reflects. Through her art, Cara envisions a world where everyone nurtures and cares for their bodies as one would a garden of beautiful flowers.

Through a dynamic process that incorporates modelling paste, stencils, spray paint, acrylics, and oils, Cara creates richly textured pieces that merge the human form and animals with blooming florals.

Cara graduated from the Milan Art Gallery Mastery Program in 2024. Her work in on display at the Joy Collective in Maleny, where she also completed a large mural. Cara's work has also been selected as a finalist in the 'Little Treasures' competition at Milan Art Gallery in Sarasota Florida and was exhibited at the Loft Gallery in February 2025.
