We let the colour lead on this one.
Bonnie wanted florals that would stand out against the bridesmaids’ soft blue, while still feeling right.
So we leaned into colour, texture, and contrast, each element holding its own and having its moment

Everything about this one felt easy, in the best way!
So grateful to Bonnie and Brendan for trusting me with it, I truly enjoyed every moment of creating for their special day.

I love Anthuriums.
I will absolutely add them to things whenever I get the chance. No regrets.
They’re glossy, sculptural, come in stunning colours and can also be spray painted/decorated to create a statement, and most of all they bring together direction and shape to an arrangement, which honestly makes them perfect for floral design.

If you’ve noticed a lot of white and green here lately… you’re not imagining things.
It’s easily the most requested colour palette I’m creating right now and it’s easy to see why.
It’s clean, it’s sleek, it’s timeless and we can do so much with it.
What makes it feel modern though is how the tones are layered.
Ivory instead of stark white, or even a mix of both is stunning. Then choosing the right greens to match your vibe. Chartreuse is definitely a hot choice if you’re wanting something modern with a bit of edge.
And finally, thinking about texture. The pieces that bring movement or draw your eye in.
Same palette but they can be a completely different feeling.

Wind in her hair, colour in her hands.
Erin and Lenny’s day was full of movement, laughter and that just married feeling of doing things your own way.
Erin carried a bright, seasonal bouquet designed to feel free and expressive. Coral dahlias, blush roses, playful pinks and soft lilac spires of veronica came together in a palette that celebrated colour, season and love.
I just love when couples give themselves permission to lean into what feels true. Florals don’t have to be quiet or contained, they can move, celebrate and tell a story.

Opulence, texture and impact.
This installation was created for the Maleny Wedding Festival / Hinterland Wedding Showcase at Flaxton Gardens, in collaboration with the ever-talented Ellie from Sunshine Weddings, whose styling vision I truly love working alongside. The draping looked incredible as a backdrop and really set the scene!
