These two met initially – through a very competitive game of monopoly! 💵 What better way to get to know someone than through how they play board games! And not two days later – they moved in with each other! Cause when you know – you know.

Now initially Lyla was drawn to how easy Bella was to talk to and how she immediately felt comfortable with her. Bella was drawn to Lyla’s sense of humour. And this is something that we all know is a quality that will help us through any tough times.

On this exact date in 2018 these two were meeting up for the very first time EVER! Yes, their wedding day is the anniversary of their first date six years ago!

Having talked online for a couples of weeks, they had organised to meet up at the Nambour Show 🎇 – the ideal location for a fun first date! No pressure, lots to do and see – perfect!

Right from the start, Cody’s baby blue eyes 👀 got Ellie good and that smile it did and still does give her butterflies. 🦋
Ellie quickly realised that the person she had been talking to online was the same person when she met him in person, and she was grateful for that. There were no false personalities or a whole new person.

And Ellie’s smile 😀 got Cody. He was impressed with her busy lifestyle, her work, her love of her friends and, they had a common interest in music. 🎶

It is such a special thing to know that you have found your soulmate – the one who you can rely on and trust and live life together. And these two have definitely lived in the now with what they have achieved over the past years. Particularly now as they own and run Bli Bli. Butchery together as they raise their two beautiful girls.

So to date – this is the first time I have heard of a couple meeting at a silent disco! 🎧 Generally that first meeting is filled with chatting and getting to know you – however this meeting they were both clearly impressed with each others dance 🕺 💃 moves!

Marriage to Jack means a life long bond and promise that connects two people – it unifies them. And what he can’t wait for is to start a family with Hannah once they have married. To have little Hannah and Jacks running around is something that he really looks forward to. 👼

Marriage to Hannah means to never give up. It means to choose your partner every day and know that they will be by your side forever. And Marriage – well she can’t wait for the Honeymoon and like Jack can’t wait to start a family!

And like most of our beautiful couples - a year later - that is well on its way to being fulfilled 👼 Congratulations!

‘Long Black Line’. Could be a name for a movie! 🎥 Yes their first recollections of each other was in a pool, and that fabulous place called ‘The marshalling Area’, when they used to see each other at swimming 🏊‍♀️ 🏊‍♂️ carnivals. Now clearly there was something that sparked, as they both remembered each other years later in 2015 when they joined the Uni Waterpolo team during unigames . And 9 years later … well the knot was finally sealed!

James loves so many things about Sandy – too many to list. However watching her grow into the most caring, kind and nurturing mother is hands down the most amazing thing about her. She doesn’t hesitate in putting both Kai and James first. She is always incredibly supportive, Kind, intelligent and loyal. There is nothing he would change about her – including her occasional fiery personality 😊

To be in love with James makes Sandy feel safe, secure and incredibly lucky. He makes her feel loved and makes her feel like she and Kai are his world. More so having him as Kai’s dad makes her fall in with him all over again.

Here’s to continuing to live a life filled with love, laughter and more mini James’s and Sandy’s to bless your life! Which at this time of writing - they have welcomed a beautiful little girl 👼to their family! A very big congratulations 🙌

Thanks to touch footy, speedy feet and definitely two people checking each other out on the footy field, the worst kept relationship secret quickly became an open book for all for these two lovebirds ❤️

To be in love with Taylor not only feels exciting, but for Andrew it also felt like a relief. A relief that he had finally found the love of his life and it was someone who was so down to earth and real.

Andrew makes Taylor feel like she is the only woman in the world, and this is such a special way to feel. She loves how he makes her laugh 🤭 and feel like they don’t have a care in the world.

Here’s to the day when you can set off and explore the world 🌎 and maybe even open that long dreamed for bakery. Here’s to the joy of watching your children grow into strong, independent souls who embrace life with love and excitement. Here to you both.

Now lucky for Paul, Kristene had just decided to give this on-line dating thing one more go but and just happened to swipe right one last time! She noticed Paul’s profile, thought Oh yeah he’s cute – but then read what was in his profile with him stating that he was not wanting anything serious. Well that certainly wasn’t what Kristene wanted, so she shut it down, only to discover a message from Paul the following morning asking if she’d like to meet. And as they say - this was the beginning of their forever after 😍 Clearly this was meant to be because only a mere 11 years 😀 after meeting, Paul decided to make it permanent and ask Kristene to marry him. 💍

Paul knew almost straight away that he wanted Kristene in his life forever. The connection he felt was strong and very much felt like he had found
his person. There is nothing about her that he would change. To him she is simply perfect.

Marriage to Kristene means to always be there and walk along side your person in the life that you create together – regardless of whether it is difficult or not. And being married – well she just can’t wait to call Paul her Husband and be called Mrs Bowley the last!!

Helena & Zac ❤️

What fabulous place could you meet your future hubby/wifey but the Smithfield Golden Arches in Cairns! And it was memorable because Helena needed to teach Zak how to make those glorious cheeseburgers 🍔 – of which she was a master at! Straight away there was a spark, ⚡️ as basically from that moment lot of messaging, hanging out, Wednesday morning breakfasts at a local café and double dates with another couple, became the norm for them both. Zak was immediately attracted to how Helene had incredible work ethic and he could see that she was also so driven in all that she did. She also had a deep level of empathy which he really connected to. Initially for Helena, it was simply Zak’s looks 😊 He was the quintessential tall and handsome man, who happened to be very easy to talk to.

Trying to pinpoint what he loves about Helena was quite difficult for Zak – as there are a multitude of traits that he loves. He loves how caring and capable of understanding she is of how he feels and how easy she is to talk to. This is something that Zak values a great deal as communication is so incredibly important and with Helena, no topic is off limits.

Love for Helena is not only about having a companion, but it’s also about having a best friend, lover, sounding board, cheerleader, advisor as well as a cuddle buddy, for every moment in time. And this falls straight into what makes them work as a partnership – they continually support each other in everything that they do, and are there no matter what.

So here’s to you both, Mr & Mrs Ringer! To a beautiful life filled with adventure, joy and lots and lots of ‘glorious cheeseburgers’ around the world. 😉

Now these two had to think long and hard about when they met as it was 12 YEARS ago! And the interesting thing about how they met, is they both have different stories. Brayden insists it was at school 🏫 after cross country and Lou insists it was down the Gold Coast where she had been invited for a beach 🏖️ day after school had finished. Regardless of how it happened – Brayden very quickly slid into Lou’s DM’s and only 12 years later - the knot was tied!

Brayden loves how supportive Lou is of him. She has unconditional love and support for everything that he does and to Brayden that is the mark of someone very special. She also keeps him grounded when he is unreasonably stressed. Brayden knows that he brings fun, adventure and optimism to their relationship.

Lou loves Brayden’s outgoing nature and overall happiness. He has this unique quality of making every adventure seem like the greatest one yet! She loves how supportive he is even when she’s going through unreasonable anxiety. And despite making her crazy – she loves his passion for everything. She would never change this about him. His passion, his support and ‘go with the flow’ attitude is something she admires.

The date of their wedding was chosen on their 12 year anniversary – only one date for Brayden to remember, and of course - never to forget! And finally, Mr & Mrs Moore, here’s to those occasional nights - without footy 😉 Big love to you both 🙏

So, let’s take a moment to reflect on the day they first met. Macca first laid eyes on Kelsey in a quaint little shop nestled in St. George, where she worked. She was a friend of his cousins, and fate led them together as Macca and his cousin had popped in as they were desperately trying to find a charger. It was in that moment, amidst the hustle and bustle of the store, that Macca turned back to address his cousin, only to find Kelsey there. Now clearly she immediately sparked his interest, and not long after, Kelsey arrived as the plus one to his 21st birthday 🎂 party, held at Macca’s house in Kandanga. Fate had definitely stepped in!

Macca loves how kind and compassionate Kelsey is. He loves how she is willing to give her time and effort to help people and animals. He loves how she is always willing to go along and spectate his motorbike 🏍️ riding. Her beauty is inside and out. To be in love with Kelsey makes Macca feel like he is at home – cause home is where Kelsey is.

Through every triumph and tribulation, Maccas been there for Kelsey - cheering her on with unwavering encouragement. She loves how he’s a friend to all, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. And those hugs of his... she can’t help but melt into them. They’re like a warm embrace that instantly makes everything better. To be in love with Macca feels warm and safe. And she would never change his brain! 🧠 Thanks to him, everything that could be a problem never is – as Macca always finds solutions.

As much as they hate to admit it – these two had dabbled in the on-line dating scene of Tinder. 🔥 Lucky for these two, they had both decided to actually delete the app, when they swiped right for the last time! How wonderful that they landed on each other! It took about a month to actually meet face to face, but in that time they both felt there was something different about the person on the other end of the line! When they finally met, it was incredibly rushed, as Romeo got lost on the way to the café to meet his Juliet! But when you have a connection you don’t need long for that feeling to kick in.

Love to Ben means warmth and home – love means Jasmin. He would never change her love for looking out for others, although he would like a bit of that to transfer to herself. Ben shows Jas how much he loves her through regular little gifts! 🎁 But also simply by cuddling her as he knows that’s her love language.

Love to Jasmine means being there for someone and choosing them every single day. She would never change anything about Ben as every little detail that makes him who he is, is who she fell in love with. Jasmine also knows that she brings the ability to put a smile 😊 on Ben’s face whenever it is needed. And smiling and laughter is such a big part of who they are as a couple.

So Here’s to starting your married life in another state, where you can continue to support, love and make each other laugh. Here’s to taking walks on the Yarra and ending back at home with a glass of wine, gnocchi and cuddling up to watch, for the umpteenth time, Harry Potter movies! 🎥

Charlotte loves how Connor is the most caring, empathetic, and generous man she knows. To be in love with him feels easy, like it isn’t an effort. Every time he goes away for work Charlotte misses him and then when he comes home, she loves him just that little bit more. ♥️ To make sure Connor knows just how much Charlotte does love him she buys him his favourite treats and gives him lots of hugs 🤗 – even when he really doesn’t want them sometimes!

Connor loves that Charlotte is a loving and honest person. To be in love with her is an enriching emotional experience that has enhanced Connor’s life in numerous ways. Connor’s superpowers 🦸‍♂️ in their relationship are that he is able to do anything that requires being physical – like cooking, the yard work and planning holidays. So these two fabulous people met on Mark’s eco resort on a remote island in Vanuatu and this reflects their relationship ever since - filled with adventure. And how utterly perfect that you get to meet your forever after, nearly 2000 kilometres away in the middle of the Pacific ocean! 🌊

What impressed Mark about Claire from the beginning was how switched on she was – I mean he thought he had hidden the beer he was consuming while waiting for her at the airport very well, however when she arrived she very quickly pointed out that the beer 🍺 needed to be drunk, along with a glass of wine 🍷 bought for her! Claire quickly realised that their morals aligned, as well as how important family was to both of them – so this certainly made moving forward super easy.

Mark loves Claire’s Emotional Intelligence, her loyalty and the energy she has for every day life. To be in love with Claire feels amazing and so very right. They truly are each other’s Yin and Yang ☯️ . Love to Mark is what makes the world 🌎 go round – and Claire is his world.

Claire loves Mark’s morals and his beliefs. She loves that family always comes first and nothing will stand in his way to provide for them as a family. She loves that he pushes her and he has always given her the love and support to simply be her.
