Let's talk drapery! If you're working in a smaller space with mid to high ceiling height like the gorgeous chapel at Goodwater Ridge using a super sheer drape running the length of the room helps the eye perceive the space as longer and more open. The bigger the space and higher the ceiling the more opaque you can go! We also knew we would be projecting later in the night and wanted to ensure the projection would go through the draping instead of cutting it off and creating shadow.

In current trends you have seen spaces filled covered from walls and ceilings. Tenting out a space will make it feel more intimate. Ideal if you have a smaller guest count but a bigger space and want to create intimacy. Drop the drapes low or put lower swoops throughout the centre.

I have no self control to wait to show you the rest of this shoot so bear witness! I saw these tablecloths and knew they were coming home with me to create this spring Tuscan inspired dreamscape. More interesting tablecloths from here on out please!
Set in chapel to create this intimate setting while the rain outside bucketed down. We combined airy drapery with bold colours to pull the eye down to the details. Hand embellished napkins and floral clouds of various floral varieties created interest and diversity leaning toward gentle maximalism - exactly what we wanted. And finished off with a dance in Monets' water lilies.

Dreamy, airy romantic but solidly grounded which also explains the incredible love you can see behind our actually married models in this shoot. So in love with these ceremony shots. Ceremony 2 is incoming and then the reception space of this killer styled shoot.

It was so fun to dip my toes into the sunny coast scene and show them sometjing a little different. I'm very much looking forward to working with this crew more often!

There will be an onslaught of photos from this shoot. We are not sorry
