We had a little help for Nuttelex for our vegan buttercream icing for our delicious vegan coconut and vanilla love cake. We used the olive brand as the flavour is really neutral and the consistency works great for decorating.

Blend with some icing sugar and a touch of almond milk and ready to go!

Some comforting creamy vegan broccoli soup for dinner tonight?...

A creamy blended mix of plant based perfection. Broccoli, sweet potato, onion, garlic, lemon, spinach, hint of chilli and chickpeas. Not only is it providing you with some calcium, fibre, protein, Vit K, potassium and Vit C but also tastebud satisfying comfort in a bowl. Serve with a dash of vegan cream and sourdough bread. Yum!

Convenient Vegan Co. originated as an idea to make plant based cuisine more accessible, easy and maintainable. The owner and creator of Convenient Vegan Co., Dr. Monique Schmidt, too often heard stories of friends, family and colleagues wanting to adopt more vegan and vegetarian lifestyle choices in their diet, but falling off the wagon in a matter of weeks if not days due to the fact that a plant based diet is too often not seen as the norm and the convenience of falling back into a more meat dominant diet followed. Monique wanted to make it easier to stay on the ‘plant based wagon’ as a manner of speaking and share her easy, no fuss plant based food philosophy.
