Oh Hey! 🙋♀️
I thought it was about time for an intro post...so here I am.
I'm Sarah, and this is my beautiful family (I also have two fur babies but god knows they won't stay still long enough for a decent picture!).
I'm lucky enough to have worked in weddings, events and hospitality for the last 8 years in some incredible venues across Australia and have helped countless couples create their dream day.
After the birth of our daughter Violet, I knew I wanted to get back into the world of events but have the flexibility to be at home as much as possible.
Creating a business that complemented my husband's business but also satisfied my creative side just made sense! I had been doing his admin for some time and noticed how often we were referring customers to styling companies for their table settings. I won't lie, there is a lot of established competition on The Sunshine Coast for event styling, but most of them seem to cater towards the wedding market or pop up picnics in the park and mostly for larger groups.
When I created Wild Violet Events I wanted to create table settings that were not wedding tables and could be accessed by small groups, even couples that were just looking for that extra level detail for their private chef experiences.
