Join us for a wonderful morning of live classical music as we welcome the Taylor Road Quartet, one of Perth's exciting new chamber ensembles, to the Classical Music Club. I

The Taylor Road Quartet is a vibrant flute ensemble showcasing the remarkable colours and versatility of the flute family through combinations of concert flute, piccolo, alto flute and bass flute. Finalists in the 2025 Australian Flute Festival Ensemble Competition, the quartet brings together four outstanding musicians whose performances are celebrated for their artistry, musical sensitivity and expressive sound.

Their engaging program will take audiences on a musical journey through five centuries of repertoire, featuring works by Josquin des Prez, Anton Reicha, Eugène Bozza, Graham Powning, Herman Beeftink, Pierre Max Dubois and Maria Grenfell. From elegant Renaissance melodies and Classical charm to evocative contemporary works and lively dance-inspired finales, there is something to delight every music lover.

Classical Music Club warmly invites you to the second concert of our 2026 season on Friday 20 March at 10:00am at the beautiful Leederville Town Hall.

We are thrilled to present acclaimed Perth cellist Sophie Walker, joined by distinguished collaborative pianist Adrian Soares, in a richly expressive recital for cello and piano.

A graduate of University of Western Australia, Sophie has built an impressive career as soloist, chamber musician, orchestral leader and recording artist. She is the founder of WAYACHAMP, serves as an examiner for the Australian Music Examinations Board, and is currently undertaking a PhD exploring pedagogical approaches to chamber music education for young musicians.
