Cullity Gallery is only open weekdays, but we'll have it open all day on May 9th, with artist talks at 12:30pm.
Ever mindful of how exhausting artists talks can be, we'll also serve refreshments.

I've been doing photographic documentation for artists for an awfully long time. And I've been presenting my DIY seminar for artists for over 20 years.

Iwan Iwanoff continues to get the recognition he so deserves.
Warren Anderson and the Iwanoff family mounted an incredible exhibition at the Cullity Gallery. Warren’s passion and research have uncovered some amazing new finds, and the original sketches, plans and contemporary reviews of Iwan’s work were fascinating.
I’m proud to have played a small part in this show.

When Iwan Iwanoff designed a home he focused on every detail including custom furniture, fit-outs and light switches in hard-to-find places to ensure form and functionality. Decades after his death, his work is now the focus of an exhibition and upcoming book.

My first SLR was a secondhand OM1. This is a fascinating read that makes me realise how much of that tiny, jewel like camera I took for granted.

In which we take apart far too much of a very complicated camera, only to discover a single loose screw fixed the whole thing. Repair! It’s fun.

Chuffed to hear that Steele Bishop's 1983 World Championship bike will finally be dusted off as part of the WA Museum's new displays.

Steele was the first Western Australian to win a world championship in the 5,000m pursuit at the 1983 UCI World Championship in Zurich, Switzerland on 26 August 1983.

His story and his bike with its world champion rainbow stripes on the frame will be featured in the new Western Australian Museum's Reflections gallery.

I did this portrait of Steele with the bike at the Museum store in 2016 when it last saw the light of day as part of the WA Historical Cycle Club's exhibition "Our Hidden Cycling History". It was the first time I met him and I'm proud to call him a friend today.

Isolation Portraits - Josh & Millie

"Just before the borders closed, when the word overseas and over east was that this virus could be very dangerous for the vulnerable in the community, I packed my partner Tanya into her ute and down south to isolate at our property near Albany. Tan has an auto-immune condition and suffered a SCAD heart attack a year ago.

Moet and Ollie, our dog and cat joined her but at the last minute we decided it may be best for Miss Millie to stay in Perth with me. And what a delight she is. She was only 5 months old when Tan left and she really gave me some company to look forward to after long days at work.

When she's out of her coup she sits on the chair next to me in my Zoom meetings or follows me around like a little puppy. I’m not sure she gets the whole social distancing thing - she has to be within about 2 feet of me at all times. With her help I’ve had my best 2nd quarter in real estate ever (that’s over 20 years). And as a bonus she’s started laying."
