Celebrant Nola Hello, my name is Nola Hodder and I am a Marriage Celebrant based in Stanthorpe and the beautiful Gold Coast. I am available anywhere in Australia.

As a marriage celebrant it is an honour to create ceremonies that are unique to each couple. I feel privileged to work with couples and make their ceremony meaningful and memorable. Whilst I am based on the Gold Coast I have conducted ceremonies on the Sunshine Coast and in NSW. I would be more than happy to travel for your special day.

I’ve personally experienced recently the importance of everyone having ‘A Life Plan’ in place, written down ( there are many books or sheets available on line) or the very least talked about, no matter what your age.
I was asked at 4 in the morning if I knew my Husband’s last wishes, his Life Plan, what he wanted and how he wanted to be treated at this time of his life.
I am so pleased to have recently studied to be an ‘End of Life Doula’ and we have talked and written our life plans.
Please take the time to write your wishes, no matter your age. In fact, I feel it’s better to write them when the mind is clear and the need not in sight. You can change them at any time.
I am very blessed to say my husband is recovering.

It’s an absolute pleasure being the Marriage Celebrant for an adventurous couple, may their love continue to be their greatest adventure. This time was in Glen Aplin, Qld. A lovely setting outdoors at a Winery where guests stayed as well. It made for more time together from BBQ Friday night through to Breakfast Sunday morning.
I’d also like to announce that earlier this year I completed a course of study to be an End of Life Doula. If I can be of assistance to anyone in Australia or New Zealand please contact me. Thank you.

For couples so eager to call it quits💔 and throw in the towel on your relationships because everything isn’t “perfect”🤭... here is some food for thought🤔. Lifelong commitment is not what most people think it is😯. It's not waking up every morning to make breakfast and eat together🍳🥞🍽. It's not cuddling in bed until both of you fall asleep, peacefully, at night🛌. It's not a clean home filled with laughter and lo******ng, everyday💐. It's someone who steals all the covers (and snores!) 😳😴. It's slammed doors 🚪 and a few harsh 🖕🏼words🤬🤬, at times. It’s stubbornly disagreeing 😡😠 and giving each other the silent treatment 😶 until your hearts heal💔💔...and, then...FORGIVENESS💙❤️! It’s coming home 🏠 to the same person💏, everyday, that you know LOVES💑 and CARES about you in spite of (and because of) who you are. It's laughing🤪🤪 about the one time you accidentally did something stupid😜. It's about dirty laundry😝 and unmade beds 🛏WITHOUT finger pointing👉🏾👈🏽. It's about helping each other with the hard work of life! 🤝. It’s about being there for each other during life’s darkest moments when loosing loved ones and rejoicing together when the good stuff happens. It's about swallowing the nagging words instead of saying them out loud🤮🤢. It's about eating the easiest meal you can make and sitting down together at a late hour 🕛 to eat because you both had a crazy day 🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏽‍♂️. It's when you have an emotional breakdown 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♂️and your Love ❤️💙lays with you and holds you and tells you everything is going to be okay😍...and you BELIEVE them☺️☺️. It's about still loving someone even though, sometimes, they make you absolutely insane🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️ and the next minute they make you laugh so hard you can’t stop🤣🤣🤣🤣. Loving someone is not easy🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♂️....sometimes it's extremely hard🙎🏽‍♂️🙍🏽‍♀️; but it's amazing and comforting and one of the BEST things you'll ever experience!💏
