You don’t need all the gear to get started.

The R1 is our standard assault r***e hire tagger. It's a great all-rounder with a solid range, good fire rate and a manageable weight. The R1 is an ideal choice if you’re stepping onto the field for the first time.

And you don’t need a full kit to join us either. Wear some sturdy, comfortable dark clothing, grab some suitable footwear, bring a positive attitude and be ready to dive in. We’ll take care of the rest.

Harkaway Scout Camp is just 45 minutes east of Melbourne C*D. A new field, a new challenge and a great opportunity to give VLSA a go.

Harkaway Scout Camp is a new field for VLSA. Just 45 minutes east of Melbourne C*D, with rugged bushland, tight terrain and plenty of opportunities to put your teamwork and awareness to the test.

It’s a smaller battlefield, making it a great place to start if you’re new to milsim. You won’t need to cover huge distances to find the action, but there’s still plenty of terrain to work with.

A good medic can make all the difference.

On the battlefield, the medic isn’t just there to patch people up, they’re part of the team, keeping players in the fight and helping the squad push forward.

Medic is one of the roles you can choose at VLSA, adding another layer of teamwork, decision-making and responsibility to the game.

On September 19, VLSA heads to Dallas Brooks Scout Camp for our first deployment on this new field. With 60 hectares of varied bushland, tracks, creek crossings and long sightlines, there's plenty of ground to explore and new tactics to discover.

🔥 O.N.E.26 – 24 HOUR MILSIM 🔥

One night. One mission. Twenty-four hours.

On October 31 – November 1, we're heading back to Rowallan Scout Camp, Riddells Creek for VLSA's annual 24-hour Milsim event.

O.N.E. is more than a normal skirmish. Deploy with your team, establish a patrol base and take on an evolving military scenario across day and night operations.

🎯 Complete evolving objectives as the story unfolds

With long sightlines, varied terrain, creek crossings and plenty of natural cover, Dallas Brooks will reward players who communicate, move tactically and make smart use of the ground around them.

Expect up to four milsim-style skirmish games throughout the day — giving you plenty of opportunities to test your tactics, work with your squad and learn a completely new battlefield.
