The day before we flooded & lost the cafe', before life changed. Lots changed. A little meringue that means more than you could possibly know, I miss those meringues, the good coffee, the perfect coffee. The only barista that comes close, is Lulu at Chickpea. On the search for a good coffee & good vegan :) ???

Once upon a time, I opened a vegan cafe' in the Wimmera, who would have thought? It was awesome! I had the best team, the best customers & despite the worry-some of a few, it went off. We couldn't keep up!!! We sold out nearly every day. Ever have one of those moments when you think about those awesome moments in your life & what if?????

I would drive interstate for this! Seriously. Returned to the State, missing my favourite in Ballarat & diesel too expensive to drive to Melbourne, the Wimmera seriously needs something of this quality. We rocked it! Have you ever had one of those moments in life, brief & so amazing you thought it was a dream & realised, that ended way too soon?

Now this was amazing!!!! Yep we are the ones, we are spreading more than kindness, I hear our menu is on the move & we are the type of business that couldn’t be more excited. The more the merry when plant-based. We have a million recipes up our sleeve & know the art of being creative, naturally 🌱💚

That’s why we are 100% the real deal. We know what that is, looks like, tastes like & we want to bring that standard of amazing vegan food to our region.

Thank you to lovely messsges, booking & drives from out of town, eg. Horsham visitors today, giving Lu’s incredible açai bowl a test. Looks like it surpassed expectations.

You can’t travel the world & eat at the best vegan restaurants & not learn a thing or two. But wait.....there is more. X

Once upon a time, a stubborn, little bit different, woman had the idea to open a vegan cafe' in the Wimmera against all negative opinions & it went off like a fire cracker! Unfortunately a down pour, a flood & no cafe' later, it came to an end. Geez it was good food!

Ever look back & think wow we nailed it! We had the best food, the best company, world renowned Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers musicians & we shook up the Wimmera who said 'vegan' couldn't be done! & think geez I miss that.... stay tuned :)
