As we head into 2026, we’re taking a more intentional approach to the weddings we take on 🤍

For us, weddings have never been just about how they look. They’re about how they feel — the people involved, the moments that matter, and the meaning behind it all.

Connection has always sat at the heart of our business. We genuinely love getting to know our couples, understanding what’s important to them, and reflecting that through the service we deliver on the day. Quality over quantity has always guided the way we work, and it continues to shape this next chapter.
We are reducing our availability and choosing a less-is-more approach. Fewer weddings, deeper connections, and the ability to show up fully — both for our couples and for our family. Our kids are growing up quickly, and I’m holding onto this season with them more closely than ever.

As 2025 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting with a full heart.

This year hasn’t been without its challenges, and there were moments that asked more of us than we expected. But woven through it all were the most beautiful weddings — days filled with love, joy and meaning — and for that, I’m deeply grateful.

To our incredible clients: thank you for trusting us with one of the biggest days of your lives. It is never something we take lightly. Being invited into such meaningful moments is truly an honour, and we loved every minute of bringing your celebrations to life.

To our wonderful vendor community: thank you for the support, the teamwork and the fun you bring to every celebration. Working alongside people who lift each other up, roll with the challenges and genuinely care makes all the difference — we are so grateful to share these days with you.

To our amazing staff: thank you. Your calm, care, creativity and commitment never went unnoticed. You are the reason these moments come together so seamlessly, even when the road behind the scenes isn’t always smooth.

And above all, to our family and friends — thank you for being our constant. Your support, patience and grounding presence remind us what truly matters.

As we look ahead, we do so with hope, but also intention. Our priorities are shifting, and being more present with family is something we’re honouring more deeply than ever. The future still holds beautiful celebrations, just approached with a little more care, balance and purpose.

Yes… it’s been a minute since I last posted! If I’m being honest, social media isn’t exactly my favourite part of running a business (can anyone relate?). It can be tricky to stay motivated when you’re wearing all the hats — but rest assured, things have been far from quiet behind the scenes.
Since returning from our amazing family holiday in QLD in mid July it’s been full steam ahead with site visits, client catch-ups, new bookings and contracts flying out the door! There’s been no gentle easing back in — and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Our first wedding of the season is tomorrow and I am super excited and cannot wait to start sharing all the beauty and love again that a wedding day brings. If the upcoming season is anything to go by, we’re in for a seriously stunning ride. Each celebration is full of heart, meaning, and individuality — just the way we like it!

As the 2025/2026 wedding season wraps up, we’re reflecting on what a ride it’s been! This year brought its fair share of challenges—both in and out of the business—but we’ve been so lucky to have the support of incredible clients and vendor friends who made it all worthwhile.

Next week, we’re taking a little breather to recharge and spend some much-needed time with our families before diving into another season of stunning celebrations. With some gorgeous weddings on the horizon and limited availability for a few months, now’s the time to reach out if you’d like us to bring your vision to life (or help coordinate everything to perfection).

Planning your dream wedding is exciting, but let’s be real—it can also be a little overwhelming, especially when you start doubting your vendor choices. Whether it’s second-guessing the florist, wondering if the photographer really “gets” your vibe, or worrying about the caterer’s timing, these little uncertainties can creep in and steal your joy.

First, take a deep breath. It’s normal to feel this way—it just shows how much you care about making your day perfect!

Here are a few steps to put those doubts to rest:

When your wedding day feels as relaxed and intimate as a backyard gathering, you know you've done it right. No formal wedding party, no first dances, no grand entrances—just heartfelt moments, minimal speeches, incredible food and drinks, and a dance floor buzzing with energy. That’s exactly what Milly and Nick’s wedding was all about.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Milton on a warm summer evening, their day unfolded with an intimate ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. Later, more guests joined them for an evening of delicious food, flowing drinks, and lively dancing.

This wedding was a fantastic reminder that the best celebrations are the ones that reflect the couple's personalities. It was simple, heartfelt, and full of joy. Thank you Milly & Nick - it truly was an absolute pleasure working for you x

Today, I want to take a moment to honour all the incredible mums out there — those who are mums, those on the journey to becoming mums, and those cherishing memories of their mums. You are all amazing.

But today, I also want to shine a light on the strength, energy, and selflessness it takes to juggle being a mum and running a small business.

I didn’t start my business to boast about achievements or chase accolades. I started it because I’m passionate about events — not just weddings, but all the moments that bring people together. I also dreamed of creating a life where I could be there for my kids — to pick them up from school, attend their special events, and be present in the ways that matter most.

Of course, that dream came with sacrifices. It often means missing weekend family time or squeezing household chores like washing, cleaning, and school lunches into the few spare moments I have. Finding time for myself? That’s still a work in progress.

Running a small business and being a mum is not for the faint-hearted. It’s a labour of love that takes everything you’ve got and then some. So here’s to all the mums out there, especially those running small businesses. You are absolute champions, and I see you. ❤️

Your ceremony time sets the tone for the rest of your day, so it’s worth giving it some thought!

Here are a few key factors to keep in mind when planning your timeline:

- Guest Numbers: Larger guest lists may require more time for arrivals and seating.
- Time of Year: Consider daylight savings and how much natural light you’ll have.
- Venue Finish Time: Work backwards from when your venue closes to ensure there’s plenty of time for dancing and celebrating.
- Location Logistics: If your ceremony and reception are in different locations, especially offsite, account for travel time.
- Your Priorities: Do you want extra time for mingling with guests before the reception, or a longer photoshoot with your wedding party?
