FRIENDSHIP TREASURE

I was lucky enough to form life long friendships whilst in primary and high school. 9 unruly girls now chaotic women with hearts of gold and laughs like no other. In December we celebrated 20 years since graduating high school and decided to capture some new memories.

If you too have a treasured friend / friends who are literally ride or die I couldn’t recommend this enough.

Motherhood petite photography sessions…

The Heirloom Edition

28 + 29 March 2026



The mood: Whimsical, soft, untamed, playful.
The look: Rustic, layered, yellows and creams, dreamy.
The inclusions: Farm animals, cottage, florals, props a plenty.

We used to call these sessions “minis” but in truth they are so much more.

Most “minis” are held in studio and or shot before a single backdrop. They are beautifully efficient, designed to capture a handful of updated family portraits in a short, simple, and financialy accessible format.

But this, this is different…

Maddie and I pride ourselves on delivering something unique each and every time. I spend months dreaming up a new concept and searching for a venue that allows us to completely immerse ourselves in that dream.

These are not simply backdrops and time slots. They are seasonal experiences. Thoughtfully styled, intentionally located, and designed to feel less like a photoshoot and more like a memory in motion.

Rather than using colour as a highlight, it’s layered quietly across florals, linens, furniture, styling pieces and light, so everything feels connected and intentional.

The focus is on tone, texture and mood, allowing the colour to shape how the space feels, not just how it looks. When done well, it creates an atmosphere that feels calm, immersive and beautifully considered, without feeling over-styled.

I love a trusting and open minded couple. I definitely do my best work when the leash isn’t pulling on my neck and I can follow my instincts down a sometimes winding path. Rosie and Shane were the chillest of chill. They knew how they wanted the day to feel and completely trusted their team of experts to pull it off.

The wedding was held on Rosie’s parent’s property who specially built them a barn! I mean DREAM COME TRUE! And what a beautiful memory builder. I bet it holds many more special celebrations in the years to come.
