This soft pink and white arrangement was full of fresh dahlias, gerberas, roses, carnations, and chrysanthemums — hand-picked from the markets and styled with love in our Southport studio.

https://link.sitejar.com.au/sp/77c63953643Last week we did something we'd never done before. In the lead-up to Mother's Day, we asked you to tell us — in your own words — why your mum deserved flowers.

We thought we'd get a handful of entries. Instead we spent days in the back room of the shop reading what came in, with tears in our eyes.

There was the daughter who took over her mum's garden bed because dementia took the smell of jasmine. The six-year-old whose Mother's Day tradition is picking flowers from his own garden — so we asked him into the shop and let him choose his mum's bouquet himself (he chose beautifully). And our first-place winner, whose own child entered her, for a mum who'd raised five kids on her own and gone without so they never had to.

She never came to collect her bouquet.

We held it for a few extra days, hoping. We still think about her quite a lot, actually.

We wrote the whole thing down — the stories that stayed with us, and the one we never want to forget. 🌹

Four arrangements, all made by hand in our Southport studio — a wreath, a posy, and two standing tributes — designed to come together as one beautiful farewell.
There's something deeply moving about Australian natives. The rich burgundy leucadendrons, the bold pink proteas, golden banksias, and soft eucalyptus speak of the land we call home. They feel grounded and enduring — a fitting tribute to a life well lived.
