After some consideration from Natham Reynolds Sorell Deputy Mayor. We are going to change the name of this page to promote the amazing markets in our region - regular and pop up.
We will add moderators to this page from the markets so they can self promote and respond to questions.
Hopefully as things progress and with the knowledge of other market holders, a Sorell twilight market will be established.

The Sunday market is back up and running. Once established maybe Pip may be interested in doing twilight markets also.

The Sorell Market will be opening its doors tomorrow for the first time since covid.
Well done to Pip who is the new operator, following on from Rod and his family who ran the market for many years.
Try and get along tomorrow to support Pip and our local market, so we can enjoy it for many more years to come.

Just something we are looking into and hopefully will get up and running soon. Depends if it's going to be cost viable.
The idea is to have live music, entertainment and a variety of food and beverage stalls on the grassed section of St George's park and a street market in Fitzroy st (outside service tas). Different theme each market.
We are after your help in suggestions for food stalls, entertainment, music (possibly buskers to keep the price down), market themes and also if there is anyone who would like to volunteer help. Thanks in advance and we will see what we can do.
