Catch us tonight at The Station Newcastle from 4:30pm to 8:30pm!
We’ll be offering a range of items, including our delicious Empandas, Chorizo Al Pan, Asado Rolls with Chimi Churri sauce and our famous mixed plate!

To accompany your delicious cup of coffee there will be Uruguayan Churros and our Dulce De Leche (caramel) filled alfajores.

The team has pulled it off!

We’ve had a jam packed weekend meeting so many of you and cooking up a feast.

A huge thank you to everyone who dropped by for a chat or to grab some goodies, as a small business our community is our number 1 priority and we are ending the weekend on a high, just blown away by all your support!

We want to thank Wayne from Lakeside Markets - Belmont South Foreshore & Speers Point Park NSW for having us on Saturday morning at Speer’s Point and for being such a pleasure to work with. It was lovely for the team to meet you on Saturday, hopefully I can be there next time.
Lakeside Markets is a beautiful event that runs every 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month at Speer’s Point Park, and one we look forward to continuing to be part of.

We were back at Speer’s Point today for another beautiful day! Thank you to Nat And Dani from Tangerine Events for the Lake Macquarie Food & Wine Festival, what an amazing day we’ve had. We are so looking forward to continuing to work together for all upcoming events. Prepping ourselves for Feast Fest already. You are both wonderful to work with and we’re so happy we got to meet Nat today.

Lastly, thank you to all other vendors we had the pleasure of meeting, we are so fortunate to be part of such a lovely and supportive business community.

November is almost here and weekends are almost filled up with events already.

Catch us tomorrow at the Lake Macquarie Food & Wine Festival at Speer’s Point Park.
We’ll be there from 11am-5pm offering a range of items from our menu, including our popular mixed plate with Asado (beef ribs), chorizo, Chimi churri sauce, Uruguayan potato salad and tomato and greens salad.
We’ll also have delicious coffee and beverages on offer.

This Saturday 22nd of October, you’ll find us at Lakeside Markets - Belmont South Foreshore & Speers Point Park NSWat Speers Point from 8am-2pm.

Tomorrow also happens to be dad’s birthday, which he’ll be celebrating by doing what he loves to do most; cooking up a range of meats for everyone (including himself) to enjoy.

We’ll have hot drinks and warm food available to stay nice and warm in this wet weather too, so don’t let that hold you back from coming along.

When life gives you lemons. Have a chorizo.

While we would prefer to have some sun shining down on us, this wet weather is also perfect for some warmer food.
Cooking chorizos over coals, doesn’t just give them that delicious smoky flavour, but it also helps to bring out all the flavours and natural juices by keeping them hot on the outside and on the inside.
Pair it with your choice of spicy or mild Chimi Churri.

As Singleton locals, we are super excited to be taking part in the Singleton Show this weekend.
You will find us there both Friday and Saturday.
Come and meet our team and warm up with one of our delicious barista made coffees or a ChoriPan (Chrizos cooked over coals and served on crunchy bread with Chimi Churri). If like me, you are a sweet tooth, we’ll have some delicious sweets on offer, oozing dulce de leche and topped with icing sugar.

We are so excited to see you all there. It seems we’re in for a bit of a wet weekend, so bring your umbrellas, swing by and warm up with some of our mouth-watering offerings.

Franklians, this Saturday, we’ll be debuting our new wheels at the Hunter Valley Alpaca Spring Show at
Singleton Showground.

Come and say hi and grab a traditional Chori Pan- Uruguayan Chorizo, cooked over coals and served on a crunchy roll with freshly made Chimi Churri.
We will also have some Empanadas and some sweets on offer.

Thankfully these two employees won’t be on shift this weekend, otherwise they’d help themselves to all the chips and nuggets.

When we say Family Business… we mean a Family Business.

1. Initially, serving fettuccine with cheese and butter was mentioned in the recipe book for macaroni romaneschi named “Roman pasta” in 15th century. The recipe comprises of cooking noodles in broth or water and adding cheese, butter and sweet spices.

2. Alfredo di Lelio invented Fettucine Alfredo in Rome. In 1892, Alfredo di Lelio started to serve in a restaurant carried out by his mother. In 1907, he discovered “fettuccine al triplo burro”. To allure his wife to eat after giving birth to their first child, he added extra butter to fettuccine.

3. Fettucine Alfredo got fame in Rome then spread to other countries. In 1950, Alfredo di Lelio with his son Armando, started to run a restaurant piazza Augusto Imperatore, Alfredo all’Augusteo which is now handled by his niece Ines Di Lelio.

OUR STORY
This is Frank, the very foundation of our small business.
Frank planted love for good food from generation to generation in our family. He taught us everything we know and showed us that food has a way of bringing people together. He owned bakeries and restaurants; bringing us all along to work in his ventures. He fed us sweet pastries, cakes, pizzas and we shared them together with a strong espresso. All of us together in a bakery kitchen, surrounded by the smell of baking bread and melted sugar.
We all spent many a weekend helping him make pasta to feed thousands or roasting meat over coals for an engagement. He taught us the art of making food, and the rituals that come with it.
He wasn't a man of many words and he showed us love through cooking. He built family traditions by bringing us all together to make thousands of raviolis for a party or kneading pizza dough or sitting together after a long day of cooking and enjoying a glass of wine or Coca Cola for the little ones. Traditions and memories that we carry with us today. It is because of him, that food, for us, is a way of celebrating each other, creating memories and coming together. Each generation in our family will tell you that there's never a party where at least 6 of us aren't standing over a bench making something. Frank built these rituals into us, rituals we cherish to this day.
We share our story with you, because when Frank passed away in 2016, we felt that we needed a way to share these beautiful traditions that he started in our family, with others. Our hope is, that through our food, we help people come together. Enjoy some pasta, a glass of wine and create their own beautiful memories. The way Frank built ours. Buen Provecho.

Here is our brand new menu. We're still working on the website so for now, DM us for your orders. We are also currently testing our Gluten Free options as we want to make sure we give the best tasting pasta all around. Once we are happy with it, we will pop it on the menu too.
