Earlier this month at Grana, we created a suspended installation and floral sculptures using native Australian wildflowers over an evening of conversation on art, placemaking and representation.
Sof Forrest brought together Simryn Gill and Alison Page, with TALENIA GAJARDO DERICKX of The Artling moderating. The evening was a first look at the art collection for Waldorf Astoria Sydney, which opens at Circular Quay in 2027.

Thank you to The Artling, Grana and everyone who came.

A trip to meet some our suppliers from the Netherlands. Non-toxic water-based paints used for the colouring of some fresh-cut varieties of flowers.

Farm visits in the Netherlands 🌼 It was incredible for us to witness the sophisticated process of how the flowers are grown, processed and handled, from farmer to market. The quality control is unlike any other place in the world.

Recently we had the chance to visit Aalsmeer Flower Auction in the Netherlands, which is the largest flower auction and market in the world. It was an eye-opening experience to witness the sophisticated operation which approximately 19 million flowers and 2 million plants across over 12,000 varieties are sold every weekday.

Layered intentionality. Works that you encounter each day, do they calm your nervous system? or do they subconsciously touch on slight chaos and confusion so you break open towards something new?
Harmonising the act can lead to transformation.
Pushing the boundaries means constant evolution.
We have always seen nature as an art form. And as we move from city to city, inspired by the abundance in each continent, our intention is to interpret the materials into a universe of its own that pulls you deeper.

📣Our masterclass goes live in less than 24 hours from now.
This class is different from any we’ve run before. Instead of teaching additional floral techniques, for the first time, Amy, our founder, will share her personal journey - how she followed her intuition to turn her passion into a business and built it in a way that preserves her freedom as the brand continues to grow.

There comes a moment when what used to make sense simply… doesn’t.
The path you’ve followed, the rules you’ve lived by, the versions of “success” you’ve been sold ..they start to lose their grip.
This upcoming workshop on Sunday 16th 9.30AM (Paris Timezone) is about that turning point.

It’s for the ones who feel a quiet pull toward something freer, truer, and more aligned.
We’ll uncover your True North, release the conditioning that’s kept you small, and remember what authority feels like when it’s earned - not performed.
👇🏻Seats are limited. Comment below to register your spot.

🗣️In this 75minute class Amy will share her experiences, fears and failures, and tools and practices she uses to grow Don de L’Amour into a globally-operating floral studio.

Free Masterclass — The Art of Intuitive Floristry

We’ve been developing something very special — a free online masterclass created for florists and creatives who feel called to create from intuition, emotion, and truth.

If you know your work holds deeper potential, this is your moment to align creativity with clarity — and turn your authentic expression into a brand that stands out effortlessly.

In this session, our founder, Amy Thai, will be sharing how she built Don de l’Amour into a globally recognised brand featured in Vogue and The New York Times — not by following trends, but by creating from soul and story.

✨ This class is for you if:
— You’re ready to move beyond trends and uncover your authentic creative voice
— You want to build a brand that feels true, intentional, and globally resonant
— You’re ready to create work that not only moves people — but attracts premium clients who value your artistry
