Business Update👇
The past four months have been without a doubt the most trying times I/we have ever faced, after the passing of Aidan in May.
Firstly, thank you so much for all of the messages, phone calls, flowers, and comments, meal drop offs etc. of support I have received from so many of you, it was truly heart warming to receive. Although I may not have replied or had the chance to personally thank you, I most definitely saw it all, and truly appreciated it.
Since May, I have taken a lot of time off to be with my family and my three young kids, to navigate and find our “new normal” way of life.
In the background, I have been slowly chipping away at outstanding work from the beginning of this year; though this has not been an easy juggling act to stay on top of.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank all of these clients who have been incredibly patient, supportive and understanding of delays in their projects. I am continuing to get these completed ASAP, but also uphold the high standard of work we have always produced.
I will begin posting some of this magic over the next few weeks, to show you all some more incredible love stories Aidan, Skyla, Coby and I captured this Summer/Autumn wedding season.

Secondly - I have spent a lot of time considering what life looks like moving forward for the kids and I. Thus, I have had to make some incredibly difficult decisions around the capacity of continuing McQuilton Productions, a business I have worked so hard to build, and I have loved doing for the past 8 years.
On this premise, I have decided that for the foreseeable future, I won’t be taking new bookings for photography/videography of weddings. I will be sure to keep you updated if this changes.
I also reluctantly made the difficult decision to hand over my upcoming wedding bookings, into the safe hands of other amazing local photographers and videographers.
A huge shout out to the local photographer and videographer community, who were so incredibly accommodating and eager to help - you guys know who you are 💕. But a special mention goes to Glen from Directors Edge, who worked hard to fit in majority of my videography clients, or assist to source another available videographer. A great result so that I was able to leave all of my clients with an incredibly skilled alternate vendor. Check him out!!

In a more positive light… 💡
In the coming months, once I have caught up on outstanding projects, I will begin re-offering family photoshoots, newborn photoshoots, event live streaming, Deb and Formal shoots, and the most exciting part of all; in which I have had a lot of inquiries about… I WILL be continuing to offer minishoots at times, including most importantly, my XMAS MINISHOOTS! 🤩
I have loved doing these minis over the past few years, and watching them grow, and seeing more families join in the fun each year.
I will begin organising this year’s Xmas minis in the next two months, aiming for early-mid November shoot dates! I can’t wait to see all the smiling children’s faces back again this year and bring the magic of Christmas alive. 😍🎄
I look forward to sharing the editing that’s been going on of late behind the scenes over the next coming weeks, and watch this space in the near future for info on booking specials and minishoot information.
Once again, thank you all, for so much generosity, kindness and empathy that has been sent our way.
Please come and say hi when you see me, I always love chatting with familiar faces and hearing how all my past clients are going. 💕
Much love,
Aleesha x
