She got wedding bouquet FOMO. 😂

After generously gifting her bridal bouquet to her mum, this bride discovered that Mum had arranged to have the flowers professionally preserved.

And suddenly, she wanted a keepsake of her own.

But there was one small problem.

She'd already given away her bouquet.

Fortunately, her wedding flowers hadn't all disappeared. She managed to find a throwaway posy and some flowers from the table arrangements, which she sent to us for preservation.

We used those flowers to create a bespoke artwork surrounding her marriage certificate and wedding photographs.

But my favourite detail?

The frame was chosen to complement another piece in their home, one her husband had made years earlier in woodwork class.

Now both pieces have a place in their home, each telling a different chapter of their story.

And Mum still has the original bouquet.

A lovely reminder that wedding flower preservation doesn't always have to begin with the bridal bouquet. Sometimes, the flowers that shared your wedding day are enough to create something incredibly meaningful.

Monday morning, 9:03am. And the messages start coming in. 😬

“I got married on Saturday and completely forgot to organise my wedding bouquet preservation. Is it too late?”

Sometimes we can still help. But sometimes the flowers have already deteriorated, or we simply don't have the availability to accept another bouquet.

And here's the thing. It doesn't have to be this stressful.

Can you work out what these three frames have in common?
Colour.

Vibrant flowers, preserved to honour equally vibrant lives.

Because memorial preservation doesn’t have to be sombre. It doesn’t have to be muted. And it certainly doesn’t have to look the same for every person.

Sometimes it’s a beautiful artwork created entirely from the flowers chosen to farewell someone, reflecting the vibrant life they lived.

Sometimes it’s a favourite photograph surrounded by a selection of their blooms.

And sometimes, it’s about bringing two people back together. Mum and Dad, reunited in one frame after 23 years. His Irish heritage. Her Australian story. Their flowers, their photograph, and all the pieces in between that meant something to the people who loved them.
