How "Magic Tag" Works

• Spell-Casting Fun: Every player gets a magic e-WAND. Players split into two teams to go on a quest. Each wizard starts with 5 magic shields. When you tag another player's wand, you cast a "hex" on them, and they lose 1 shield!

• Getting Back in the Game: If you lose all 5 shields, you get "jinxed." Don't worry! Just rush back to your team's magic chest. Stand next to it for a few seconds to regain your magic, then jump right back into the action!

• The "Clash" Game: To cast a spell, flick your e-WAND and point it at the other wizard's wand sensors. The game is timed. The team that casts the most hexes before time runs out wins!

• Works Outdoors in Bright Sun: Our special tech works (almost) anywhere! You can cast spells indoors or outside in bright, direct sunlight without any glitches.

• Easy to Run: One staffer (the "Professor") can easily run a game for up to 30 wizards at once. It is a super fun, easy way to add magic to any park, festival, or field!

Have you heard about this?

The Arcane Academy awaits... Among the tents and gathering places of Greenwood Ford, you'll find the Arcane Academy. A place where curious minds can begin exploring the mysteries of magic.

As your character grows through quests, you'll have opportunities to uncover magical knowledge, learn spells, discover enchanted items and unlock new abilities. Whether you're drawn to ancient runes, mysterious artefacts or the study of forgotten lore, the Arcane Academy may have a place for you.

Like everything at Dragon Call, participation is completely optional. You can simply enjoy the festival or, if you choose, dive deeper into our character and quest system and discover what magical secrets await.

A huge thank you to Grimalkins Rest for bringing the Arcane Academy to life and creating one of the many immersive spaces you'll discover throughout the festival.
