✨ A very special wedding for a very special soul ✨

Mia – Eyeswide Imaging - Videography and Photography one of our most loved local photographers here in Agnes Water and someone I’ve worked with countless times through 1770 Weddings – recently swapped roles and stepped in front of the lens 💍

Known for her humble nature and incredible talent for capturing people so candidly and beautifully, Mia has photographed countless love stories – and even covered this year’s 1770 Festival. But this time, it was her turn to shine ✨

With her partner Steve and their gorgeous children Sebastian and Iluka by her side, this day wasn’t just a wedding – it was a heartfelt family celebration 💕 The stunning photos by Kiara captured it all: Mia’s radiance, love, and the joy that filled every moment 📸

Though I was flat-out coordinating behind the scenes, seeing the final result has been so humbling and emotional. What an honour to help bring this day to life for someone who gives so much beauty to others 🤍

✨ It’s been a minute since our last post — and for good reason! ✨

The past seven weeks have been a whirlwind of love, laughter, and celebrations here at 1770 Weddings 💍💐

We’ve planned & styled 3 beautiful weddings, brought the magic to a 40th and a 70th birthday, and been behind the scenes of the incredible 1770 Festival, helping coordinate an epic 3-day community event. It’s been non-stop… and we’ve loved every moment! 💫

Today marks the final pack-down of our last wedding for this round, giving us a little breather before we dive into the next wave of dream events.

Saying Goodbye is Always Bittersweet…

After 1–2 years of planning, dreaming, creating and sharing countless messages, the big day arrives… and then, just like that, it’s over.

Today I said goodbye to one very special bride — Miss C, who is now officially Mrs S!

She was all colour, vibrance, and sheer determination, with a gorgeous vision she worked so hard to bring to life. Watching it all come together was an absolute joy, and being trusted to help make it happen was the greatest honour.

Clients like her are why I became a wedding planner — the connection, the creativity, the trust.

Now she’s off to begin her next chapter as a wife, and I couldn’t be prouder.

Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness, Mrs S — thank you for letting me be a part of your journey.

It’s not goodbye forever… just goodbye for now.

✨ A very special Happy 40th Birthday to the beautiful Claire Roe! ✨

It was an absolute pleasure to set up and style Claire’s milestone celebration on the stunning 1770 Foreshore 🌊☀️, surrounded by family, friends, and a whole lot of love ❤️.
Guests shared an incredible spread of savoury and sweet dishes 🥖🧀🍰, creating the most welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
The refreshments bar featured a delicious mix of cocktails 🍹, iced teas 🧊, and sparkling flavoured waters ✨ — the perfect touch for a sunset celebration!

It’s been a little while between posts… but wedding planning and 1770 Festival organising has been in full swing behind the scenes!

This weekend, we had the absolute joy of styling and coordinating the most beautiful celebration for locals Steve & Mia (one of our favourite local photographers!)

With 140 of their closest friends and family, they celebrated their love on good friend Tim’s private property — nestled in the stunning Cove Estate of Agnes Water.

The property itself was the dreamiest blank canvas — a serene dam, lush tropical surrounds, and the most perfect weather made it a magical setting for both ceremony and reception.

Congratulations to this gorgeous couple – what a day, what a love story, what a party!

🎉 Behind the Scenes at Julie’s 60th Birthday 🎉

What an incredible night celebrating Julie’s milestone birthday! It truly takes a village to bring an event like this together, and we had the best of the best making sure everything was absolutely perfect. 💛

✨ Food: Javi and Oscar from secretdinner_ delivered the most amazing catering—every bite was a masterpiece!
🍹 Cocktails: Amber & Claire kept the drinks flowing, making sure guests were sipping on perfection all night.
🎶 Entertainment: The talented Maurie & Jackson Nicholson (our favorite father-son duo) set the vibe, with a special surprise visit from a local bass player—what a treat!
🧀 Grazing Boxes: Rio from Graze Me 1770 Grazing Boxes & Baby Gift Boxes created incredible spreads that looked as good as they tasted.
🎂 Cake: Bree from Coffee & Cake Agnes Water baked up something truly special—absolutely delicious!
🌸 Florals: Lily from Floral Design By Lily worked her magic, creating breathtaking arrangements that tied everything together beautifully.
💫 Styling & Setup: And of course, all the stunning styling was done by us at 1770 Weddings—because every celebration deserves to look as good as it feels!

🎄✨ Behind the Scenes of the Christmas Ball Fundraiser ✨🎄

At Drift & Wood Restaurant, we had the privilege of styling the fabulous Christmas Ball fundraiser in support of the Impact Community Centre and their incredible work for our local community. Here’s a glimpse into the effort and love that went into making this event a magical success:

💪 Hours of Prep:
• 15 hours of ironing/steaming linen, including 150 napkins meticulously folded into Christmas trees.
• 8 large (3m) round tablecloths and 18 rectangular (2m) tablecloths perfectly pressed and set.
• 150 charger plates polished to perfection.
• 17 mirrored tiles and 17 giant martini glasses polished and decorated.
• Custom-designed Christmas menus and table numbers, printed and cut with care.
• A fairy light wall and curtains to add sparkle and elegance.

📦 Setup & Logistics:
• Delivery and setup of banquet tables, decor and additional chairs.
• Extra glassware to accommodate all the fabulous guests.

🤝 Teamwork Makes the Dream Work:
A HUGE thank you to the amazing team to bring it all together—Lloyd, Carol, PA, Dave, Trevor, Donna, Pam and the amazing Gracie, your effort and dedication made this possible.
