A SPECIAL PROJECT CLOSE TO HOME

I wanted to share some of the pieces I had the privilege of creating for last weekend’s Glenville & Lynette Drinkwater Memorial Shoot 2026, held by the Collinsville Bow Hunting Club.

Through Outback Creations & Event Planning, I designed and created the commemorative shirts and caps for the event, and I absolutely loved seeing the finished products come together. ❤️

I also designed and engraved three individual timber boards, which I proudly donated to the club for their Silent Auction.

Each board was created especially for the Memorial Shoot, with its own unique bow hunting design to reflect the event and provide something special for the successful bidders to take home.

Being a local business isn’t only about what I make and sell. It’s also about being able to use what I do to give something back and support our local clubs, events and community.

I’m very proud of how the shirts, caps and engraved boards turned out, and even prouder that I could contribute to an event that honours the memory of Glenville & Lynette Drinkwater.

Thank you to the Collinsville Bow Hunting Club for giving me the opportunity to be involved in such a meaningful annual event.

Sometimes a project means so much more than simply creating something beautiful.

I had the privilege of designing, engraving and donating these boards to a fundraiser being held in support of a very special lady from Charters Towers who has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer. (Charters Towers) Going Gold Fundraiser

When someone is facing a battle like this, every little bit of support can make a difference. I hope these boards can help raise some much-needed funds and, in some small way, contribute to the incredible support surrounding her and her family during this difficult time.

This is one of the reasons I love what I do — being able to use my little business and something I create with my own hands to give back and help when it matters. 🤎

To everyone organising, donating, attending and supporting the fundraiser — I hope it is an amazing success and raises as much as possible for this beautiful lady and her family.
