On a regular basis, simple legal marriages will be conducted for those couples requiring an Australian Marriage Certificate, but not wanting an Australian Wedding Ceremony as such. This is often because the 'Wedding Event' is being held overseas. Particularly suitable for couples having Destination Weddings or Bali Weddings, but not wanting to comply with the religious requirements of that country - or simply wanting to be absolutely sure that their marriage is definitely and undoubtedly legal.

UPDATE: The measures that were in place over the past couple of years, allowing for us to lodge NOIMs by video call are no longer applicable. We understand that these measures are currently being discussed, with the hope that they may be reinstated soon. The video lodgement was a temporary Covid measure - but as it seemed to work so well, there is every likelihood that soon we will be able to return to this system. ✔️

This morning's fully legal Elopement Style Marriage Ceremony ❤️❤️
The bride's parents flew over from Ireland for their annual holiday in Perth. They were surprised by the news that they were to be the only guests (and witnesses) at a Wedding on Scarborough Beach 2 days later... ⛱️ 💥💕
The weather was perfect 🌻

Heading to Chinta Cafe in North Perth, for another simple, legal Marriage for a couple who will have their Bali Wedding later this year. One partner is Indonesian and the other is Australian, but it is much simpler to have the legal paperwork taken care of here in Perth. I will then help them with the process of having their marriage registered in Bali later.
Chinta always looks after Elopements and Mobile Registry Weddings so well. Usually they provide a quiet space when they can. And oh, did I mention - the food is awesome!

This morning's legal Marriage Ceremony for a gorgeous couple from Indonesia. It's so simple to have a legal, non religious Marriage here in Perth, that many couples now come here for the ceremony before spending time here on honeymoon afterwards.
Everything was prepared for this wedding, via email, so that we could arrange the Marriage on Day 2 of their holiday. Congratulations to them both (no names due to discretion) and a huge thank you to Chinta Cafe in North Perth for always being so generous with your time and space. ❤️
Sometimes the couple only want coffee and cake, but this morning we celebrated with a small banquet afterwards!
