Last chance to submit your artwork for the Young People of Bayside Art Exhibition, now in its 25th year 🤩🖼️

If you’re aged 10-25 and live, work, study or even hang out in Bayside, this is your chance to showcase your creativity.

Submit your interpretation of the 2025 theme ‘Past / Present / Future’, whether it’s a painting, sculpture, textile, photograph or mixed media piece, to be considered for the $1000 prize pool awarded to 8 artists.

Awards are open to young people aged 10 to 25 who contribute within Bayside.

Nominations close 24 March.

Awards, certificates, trophies and prizes will be presented at the Bayside Youth Awards Night in early May.

The BOOMBox Events FReeZA Committee are at it again: our latest event is the Winter Solstice Party, which is a UV dance party for 13 to 18 year olds with a connection to Bayside (live, work, school/study). See details in the link 😊

St Kilda Festival returns with two days of summer fun and the ultimate celebration of Australian music! 🌞 🎶
An incredible line-up of First Nations artists will present a jam-packed day and night of music for First Peoples First on Saturday 17 February. 🎉
On Sunday 18 February, the much-loved Big Festival Sunday brings eight stages of music, plus entertainment, market stalls and more to St Kilda's stunning foreshore and surrounds. 💃🏾

Bayside's own FReeZA committee - BoomBOX Events along with 3 other council FReeZA committees, will be managing the Youth Stage at O'Donnell Gardens on Sunday 18 February 🎸🎹🥁

FReeZA is a Victorian Government initiative that supports young Victorians to get involved in their community by planning and running drug, smoke and alcohol-free music and cultural events for other young people.
