Wedding Songs

The music you choose for your ceremony tells an important part of your story. I encourage my couples to choose songs that hold meaning for both of them. Be a little different with your choices. Like many Celebrants, if I never hear A Thousand Years by Christina Perri as the bride's entrance song, it will be too soon. If you like the song, you can be a little extra by using the version by John Barrowman instead. I've played songs from a couples favourite game, theme songs from their favourite movie, one couple even wanted their football team's song but changed their mind on that one.

I have a playlist of songs that I would love to hear at a wedding ceremony, so if you're stuck for ideas, hit me up. I also have a brand new speaker and I'm keen to use it so if you need a Celebrant, just message me.

What a beautiful day for a wedding! Today, Hayden and Amy were married in the garden of Redcourt Homestead in a ceremony with “subtle” nods to Star Wars and Lord Of The Rings. Even the date was important, with May the Fourth being known as Star Wars Day. And yes, I opened with, Hello There, and May the Fourth be with you. Word of mouth advertising in action. I met Kate (in the red dress) many years ago when we worked together at McDonald’s in Sale. Despite our age difference we became friends who hugged each other every time we met after we both left Maccas, saw Twilight movies together and stayed friends on Facebook.
A couple of years ago, Kate asked me to celebrate her wedding, mid-pandemic, so it was a small ceremony in her lounge room with a few family members attending.
Kate’s friend Charlotte wanted a small no fuss ceremony and Kate recommended me.

The best way to support your friends in business is by telling your friends about them.
