A must-see exhibition! Abdul-Rahman Abdullah's ‘The Dogs’, presented in partnership with Dark M**o

Exhibition runs:
11 Jun - 21 Jun 2026
Thursdays - Sundays, 10:00am - 10:00pm
The Barn, Rosny Farm

Drawing on vivid childhood memories of being chased by guard dogs, Abdul-Rahman Abdullah creates a work that sits somewhere between the domestic and the menacing. Life-sized forms hold the space—watchful, territorial—while chandeliers cast a seductive glow over something far less welcoming.

Exhibition runs:
11 Jun - 21 Jun 2026
Thursdays - Sundays, 10:00am - 10:00pm

Enter the wonderland that is Mish Meijers' solo exhibition 'Chats with Bats, Trees and Other Creatures’ at The Schoolhouse, Rosny Farm.

Exhibition runs:
5 Jun - 28 Jun 2026

In this space paintings and installations will function as portals, tracing earlier attempts to communicate beyond the self and positioning the exhibition as an ongoing experiment in interspecies address.

The works are intended to attract and highlight communication with non-human species and focus on forms of interspecies communications.

Some beautiful install shots of Dialogue Continuum, a recent group exhibition featuring work by Hunter Island Press & Tasmanian Ceramics Association.

Schoolhouse Gallery, Rosny farm
8 May - 31 May 2026

Showcasing the creative exchange between ceramics and printmaking. This collaboration, sparked by the 2024 exhibition Dialogue, explores the intersection of these mediums through ongoing workshops and artistic exchange.

In this exhibition, ceramicists and printmakers merge techniques, layering prints onto clay and crafting 3D forms. This exchange sparks an exhibition exploring the interplay between mediums, where surface and form, image and object converge.

Hunter Island Press (HIP), established in 2004, is a not-for-profit artist-run organisation supporting Tasmanian printmaking. HIP offers Hobart studio space, workshops, exhibitions, and collaborative opportunities, embracing techniques from etching to screen printing.

The Tasmanian Ceramics Association (TCA), established in 1973, supports ceramic artists statewide through exhibitions, workshops, and professional development. Members work across functional and sculptural practices, employing diverse techniques and surface treatments.
