Dear Seawinds community, it is with a heavy heart we want to inform you that Waffles & Latte Café will be finishing up at Seawinds Community Hub on Friday, 13th Dec 2024.
Due to a recent change of circumstances with family, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Waffles & Latte Café as we can no longer maintain being onsite.
To the Seawinds community – thank you for your support, your smiling faces, and banter. It has been a joy to come to work every day to serve you.
To the Seawinds volunteers – thank you for your commitment and time to helping in the Café this year. We value your friendship and the time you have dedicated in running this Café together.
To the Seawinds Board and team – thank you for for the opportunity to run the Café here at Seawinds Community Hub; it has been a pleasure being able to serve our community and getting to know everyone over the smell of caffeine and food.
Since opening in May 2024, Waffles & Latte Café has raised over $7,000 to give back to Seawinds. Thanks to all of you for your support in enabling us to raise these funds.
We hope to have the chance to cross paths with you again in the future; we’re local too so will probably catch you at Rosebud Plaza! 😃
Note: The Seawinds Community Cafe will continue to operate in 2025 and will be under new management. We wish the new business all the very best and welcome them to the Hub!
