As the year comes to a close, I’m feeling so grateful for every couple who invited me into their love story. Standing beside you as you promised your futures to one another has been a true joy.

Thank you to the families, friends, and supporters who surround my couples - and to those who support me in doing what I love. Here’s to more love, connection, and beautiful beginnings in the year ahead.

As a celebrant I have been fortunate enough to work with families from all different backgrounds during the past decade. Hearing about this tragedy has both stunned and saddened me on so many levels. My heart and prayers go to all of the people who have lost loved ones in this senseless attack on innocent people.

Let it bring an end to violence and a chance to encourage peace among all Australians, whatever our heritage.
