Love is beautiful, fragile, and sometimes a little scary but itโ€™s always worth it. Itโ€™s a masterpiece,delicate, raw, and ever-evolving. Itโ€™s in the grand gestures and the quiet moments, in the fearless confessions and the silent hesitations.

Sometimes, weโ€™re scared to love, scared of its depth, scared of its uncertainty. But isnโ€™t that what makes it so powerful? This Valentineโ€™s, letโ€™s celebrate love in all its forms, the kind thatโ€™s steady, the kind thatโ€™s wild, and even the kind weโ€™re still learning to embrace. Because love, no matter how it comes, is always worth it.

a reflection of warmth, depth, and simplicity. But more than just colors and flowers, this design speaks of new beginnings.

2025 feels different. This year, Iโ€™m choosing to focus on MAGAYON. I want it to grow, not just as a business, but as a space where I can express myself freely, touch hearts, and connect with others through stories told in flowers.

Just as Apolaki transformed humble fruits into golden sustenance, each bloom in this arrangement reflects the strength and light bestowed upon a village in need. May these blossoms remind you of the enduring hope that shines through even the hardest times.

In a humble village, where food was scarce and the peopleโ€™s struggles were many, they prayed to Apolaki, the god of the sun, seeking his guidance to bring life to their barren land. Hearing their plea, Apolaki sent down his daughter, Alitaptap, a gentle spirit of light who glowed like the dawn. She walked among the villagers, seeing their resilience and their need for hope.

Moved, Alitaptap planted a simple tree with green fruits, a promise of nourishment. As the villagers worked tirelessly to care for it, Alitaptap felt their dedication and asked Apolaki to bless the tree. Answering her, Apolaki shone his powerful light upon the fruits, turning them from green to a radiant yellow, the colour of sunlight. These golden bananas became a source of abundance and strength for the villagers, who cherished them as symbols of Apolakiโ€™s warmth and Alitaptapโ€™s kindness.

From then on, the yellow banana became a reminder of divine compassion, resilience, and the life-giving power of the sun. When they held the golden fruits, the villagers believed they held a piece of the sun itselfโ€”a blessing that would sustain them through any hardship.

In some parts of the Philippines, thereโ€™s a lesser-known horror tale about Ang Bahay na Lila, or "The Violet House." The story goes that in a small, quiet town, there was an old mansion painted a deep, striking shade of violet. The house belonged to a wealthy family who was known for their secrecy and strange behaviour. One night, the entire family vanished without a trace, and their home was abandoned, left frozen in time.

Locals began to notice strange happenings around the Violet House. People passing by at night would see faint violet lights glowing from the windows, hear eerie whispers, or feel a sudden chill. Some even claimed to see ghostly figures in violet clothes staring out from the windows, as if waiting for someone to enter.

Braver souls who dared to enter the house reported feeling disoriented, as if the rooms kept shifting or time itself was distorted inside. They would often see the color violet flashing or pulsing, and hear faint footsteps echoing through the empty halls. Legend has it that anyone who spends too long in the Violet House will eventually disappear, just like the original family.

To this day, locals avoid walking past the house at night, especially wearing anything violet, as it's believed that the spirits inside are drawn to the color. The house remains a dark mystery, and no one knows what really happened to the familyโ€”or what might be waiting within those violet walls.

The story of Ang Babae sa Balete Drive is a well-known ghost story in the Philippines, passed down through generations. It centers on a mysterious woman in a white dress who haunts Balete Drive, a road in Quezon City surrounded by old balete trees, which are thought to have supernatural connections in Filipino folklore.

People say that this woman was either murdered or died in a car accident on Balete Drive many years ago. Her spirit is believed to be restless, seeking justice or peace. Drivers who pass through the road late at night often share eerie encounters with her. Some say she appears suddenly in the middle of the road, forcing drivers to brake hard or swerve, while others claim to see her quietly sitting in their back seat when they glance in the mirror. Sheโ€™s usually described as having long black hair, pale skin, and a sad or expressionless face.

The legend warns men, especially taxi drivers, to avoid picking up lone women at night along Balete Drive. Locals say her spirit lingers there, tied to the place where her life ended, and that she appears only to vanish moments later, leaving an unsettling chill. The story of Ang Babae sa Balete Drive has been the inspiration for books, movies, and TV shows, becoming a symbol of mystery, fear, and the supernatural in Filipino culture.
