Lilly & Lotus is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Florist Assistant to join our team. Floristry experience is preferred but not required – we're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for creativity, flowers and customer service.

This is the perfect opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking to start a career in the floral and events industry. This would also be an ideal role for someone studying any element of creative design.

As a Florist Assistant, you'll work alongside our experienced florists, supporting them to create beautiful floral arrangements and assist in the the day-to-day operation of our busy studio and retail store.

Your responsibilities will include:
💐Assisting florists with the preparation of flowers and arrangements
💐Cleaning, conditioning and caring for fresh flowers
💐Wrapping bouquets and preparing orders for delivery
💐Fulfilling hamper orders
💐Flower deliveries
💐Serving customers and providing exceptional customer service
💐Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented workspace
💐Receiving and unpacking flower deliveries
💐Assisting with retail displays and merchandising
💐Supporting wedding and event preparations
💐General cleaning and studio duties

We're looking for someone who is:
😁Friendly, enthusiastic and eager to learn
😁Creative with an eye for detail
😁Reliable and punctual
😁Well presented with excellent communication skills
😁Able to work in a fast-paced environment
😁Physically capable of being on your feet and repeatedly lifting buckets of flowers when required
😁Happy to work as part of a team and take direction
😁Available to work Monday – Saturday.
