Hey all, I know I have a long list of emails and texts to get back to. Last week I had 5 weddings in 8 days and this effected alot of my communication for potential couples...current couples...and friends and family. I am spending the next 48 hours getting back to you. My apologies for the wait and I understand your frustration.

Six years later, you’re still my favourite person to annoy and occasionally spend time with due to our work schedules. Thanks for saying yes to that first date… and every adventure since.

The cost of living is rising, priorities shift, and sometimes weddings get postponed, rescheduled, or even cancelled altogether. And honestly? There’s absolutely no judgment in that. ❤️

But if your plans do change, please remember to let your vendors know. We’re real people behind the emails, calendars, and bookings and even a quick message makes a world of difference.

Most of us genuinely care about you and your day, no matter what shape it ends up taking.

Good morning all, I just had the most wonderful interaction with a member of the community (Carrol) who voted for me for a Local Legend Award for the Queensland Day celebration for all the good vibes I bring to the community.

Over the years, this community has given me so much more than I could ever put into words friendships, support, laughter, purpose, and countless unforgettable moments. ❤️

Whether it’s hosting trivia nights, celebrating love stories as a celebrant, bringing people together through events, or simply trying to create spaces where everyone feels welcome, everything I do comes from a genuine love for our community and the people in it.

I truly believe communities thrive when people show up for one another, when we support local, lift each other up, and create opportunities for connection, joy, and belonging. Seeing smiles on faces, strangers become friends, and people feel included is honestly the greatest reward.

AI can create almost anything now.
Photos. Music. Stories. Entire worlds.

But it still can’t touch the feeling of a real moment shared between real people.

This photo captures one of those moments for me. Genuine happiness. The kind you don’t pose for. The kind that exists completely in the laughter, the emotion, the atmosphere, and the people around you.

I got to stand beside two people deeply in love and celebrate a wedding ceremony outside and inside a TARDIS. And somehow, in that strange, beautiful little moment, everything just felt incredibly human. It was perfect.

That’s the thing I don’t think technology will ever replace.Not creativity. Not connection. Not joy. Because no matter how advanced AI becomes, it will never truly feel what this moment felt like. 💙
