Honoured to announce that we have won the ‘Highly Commended’ award at this years Brides Choice Awards. Extremely thankful to all our couples and so happy to even be nominated for an award on such a hard year for us that was filled with a difficult pregnancy and a bunch of postponed weddings. Let us introduce ourselves to you!

Hi guys, I’m Kimberley the owner of KA Weddings. Together with my amazing husband we have grown this business from its start in late 2019. After planning our own wedding and falling in love with the process, I started KA Weddings to help other couples enjoy planning their wedding rather than getting lost in the overwhelming tasks and not enjoying it. This business is my second baby (my daughter being my first) and I’m so proud of how far it has come.

What is your role?
I am the lead wedding coordinator and planner. I’m also the face behind all the responses to your messages.

What do you love most about your job?
My favourite part of this job is seeing how happy couples are on their special days. Being there from start to finish you really create a bond with these amazing couples and all you want is for them to have the day of their dreams. I’m glad I’m the person that gets to create that for them.

What are your hobbies outside of work?
First and foremost I’m a mum, but I’m also a creative person. You will always see me finding new avenues to be creative, especially with my Cricut machine.

What is your dream location to travel and why?
I would love to visit Bora Bora. The beauty of the island is so inviting I couldn’t imagine wanting to visit anywhere else.
