Introducing Mr & Mrs Camp! 🤍

Some couples are all about the perfectly posed photos, but not these two!

Christopher and Rylee were all about soaking up every moment of their special day. Rather than disappearing for hours of couple portraits, they chose to stay amongst their family and friends, enjoy the celebrations, capture the candid moments and dance the night away! 💃🥂

And isn’t that what it’s all about? The laughter, the love, the little moments and the memories made with the people who matter most.

It’s been a lot of hard work, a few changes of plans and plenty of figuring things out as we go.

We’ve tried to reuse and repurpose as much as possible, and it’s finally all coming together.

These paddocks are part of her everyday life, and Kaban Heights by the Pines holds a piece of her heart. Our daughter has poured so much love and hard work into this place, helping other couples celebrate their forever. Seeing her here in her wedding dress, surrounded by the cattle and country she loves, felt like watching two parts of her world come beautifully together. Our girl, her place, her own love story. 🤍

A little progress update… and she’s starting to come together! 🙌

Old containers, mismatched tin, recycled windows given a new life, framing, insulation and a whole lot of hard work behind the scenes.

We’ve tried to reuse and repurpose wherever we can, and it’s pretty amazing watching something that started as a complete mess slowly turn into what we had pictured.

We’re keeping the finished result under wraps for now… but we cannot wait to show you!

When we bought this place, there was really only one way to describe it…

A complete MESS. 😂

Overgrown, falling down, rusty, rotten and VERY questionable.

Most people probably would’ve taken one look and walked away or bulldozed it down!

We didn’t. 👀

We had a vision… and looking back at these photos now, even we can’t believe what we took on.

We’re so excited to introduce Pearl & Pines Glamping, my sister’s beautiful new little business. 🤎⛺️

These gorgeous country-style glamping tents are now available to hire right here at Kaban Heights — perfect for wedding guests wanting to stay onsite and make a whole weekend of it!

Each tent is beautifully set up with a queen bed, cosy bedding, towels, lighting, mirrors and those little touches that make it feel extra special. 🌿✨

We absolutely love seeing another local family business come to life, and even better that we get to have it right here alongside Kaban Heights.
