Newcastle Beach's coastline has many perfect locations for a wedding. I have a wedding coming up in March and am really forward to this very happy couple's marriage along the cliff top overlooking the ocean.

Annual Ongoing Professional Developments is a legal requirement for Celebrants from the Attorney General's Department. I went to mine recently at New Lambton led by Lilian Lyon from Australian Celebrations Training Ltd. It was a very interesting day. Networking with the Newcastle and Hunter Celebrants is always a positive experience.
We had the Manager of Marriage Registrations from Birth Deaths and Marriages (BDM) speak with us all. We can now register all marriages with documentation scanned into BDM. This allows couples to receive their Marriage Registration Certificate so much quicker than the previous process of posting all documentation into BDM. There are over 3,500 Civil Marriage Ceremonies per year and 71% of all marriages are led by Civil Marriage Celebrants. The average age of a bride in NSW is 29.5 years and the Groom is 31.5 years.
All in all, a very useful professional learning day .

How wonderful. I have the honour of being able to marry our son Will to his beautiful fiance Sara in three weeks. It will be a wonderful celebration and I know they will be so happy!
The venue is the stunning Ridge view Winery on Sweet water Rd, Pokolbin. The relaxed setting including large ponds for the wedding site ,vines plus elegant building and tasting room is just perfect for a wedding. We are all very excited!

Going to look at Nirvana Estate at Poklobin tomorrow in prep for a very special wedding on October 3rd. The couple are writing their own vows and a special friend is playing a major role in the ceremony. Personalising a couples' wedding is the absolute best part of being a Marriage Celebrant.
