I just enjoyed one of my last and larger weddings yesterday at Howard Vineyard. The bride and groom I know and they were a pleasure to work for and stunning in every respect . Live music by Hillier was great .

I have only 2 very small weddings to do before I stop being a celebrant .

After more than 20 years as a celebrant, I’ll be finishing in this role from September this year.

It’s been an absolute privilege for me to be part of so many meaningful moments — over 300 weddings, ceremonies, and stories. I am vety grateful to everyone who trusted me with such important days.

I’ve loved every happy occasion ….but will no longer use this page.

Today, I had the honour of being celebrant at a funeral celebrating the life of a unique woman—97 years.

A mother, grandmother, friend, trailblazer. A feminist …way before the concept was known. Dearly loved and she always gave much more than she took. A life well lived….

Perfect weather and location for the wedding I conducted today. The brides exuded happiness and class whilst staying relaxed enough to enjoy the moment . Lots of thought went into this small wedding with a unique ring bearer and great music and sound.

Having done 100s of weddings …Some of my favourite weddings have been really small … They aren’t about the size of the guest list—they’re about the love in the relationship. Sometimes intimate weddings create space for meaningful moments, deep connections, and a day that truly reflects the couple . Whatever the size how you enjoy it counts.
