Choosing an exotic location to celebrate this important occasion will make it the experience even more memorable, but planning a wedding from another country can come with many challenges. Planning and logistics are generally different in other countries, and therefore make the preparation frustrating.
CW team brings you the top three mistakes couples make when organising their destination wedding, we have made it easy for you to avoid them errors.

• Seeing is believing.
Do not pick your location/venue based on photos from internet or a friend’s recommendation. It is very important to make time to visit the wedding location in person before making any payment. The outlay for the flight maybe costly but will save you thousands in the long run. As the client you need to feel comfortable and ensure the venue exceeds your expectations. There is no point booking a venue which is too large, too small, etc.

• Why didn’t you hire a wedding planner?
Generally, clients only visit their destination wedding location once, and then do not return until one week prior to the wedding. Trying to organise all the other wedding elements by email correspondence can be difficult with local suppliers (especially if they speak another language). That’s why we always suggest to hire a local wedding coordinator/wedding planner. The planner will help with logistics, running sheets, negotiation with suppliers and ensure that the day runs smoothly.

• Guests need more than just the wedding.
It is very important that your guests will be travelling overseas just attend your wedding, so as good hosts you should offer them extra activities. Ask your wedding planner to plan some excursions or games to make their trip even more memorable.

Photo booths have been around for a while now; some event designers are predicting the end of their reign in 2017 as their novelty has worn off. On the other hand, photo booth sales in Australia are still going strong. This simple yet fun concept is always a popular addition to any event.
Photo booths have come a long way, from the original standalone box to personalized creative walls. The CW team have given you some pros and cons to help you decide if this fad is still an important addition for your wedding.
Props:
• The booths are a fun way to give your guests a quick snap shot to remember the energy, while the bridal couple get to keep the negatives.
• A great way to customised the photos, is to ask your photo booth supplier if you can add a wedding logo on the border of the image.
• The trend for 2015 and 2016 is to design your own signature props, making the experience unique for every guest.

Cons:
• Having a booth is an additional expense for your wedding. Every customized item will keep increasing the cost.
• You can only fit a number of people into a booth, therefore your guests may have to line up to use the booth.
• The larger booths can take up to 3 metres sq. so they are no allow in all venues.
