Another surprise this morning with a sweet teddy bears 🧸 picnic tea party. We set this cute set up while mum and dad took the kids out , to return to everything set up for a bunch of very excited girls. We also took care of the catering with a selection of sandwiches, fairy bread, mini cupcakes , fruit, mini meat pies and sausage rolls. An easy and special way to celebrate the girls Birthdays.

Ive started the BIG 128km walk for little kids facing cancer and in memory of my dear friend, Kelly who sadly passed away from Leukaemia at only 16.

A gorgeous “Over the moon” 🌙 high tea baby shower created by the customer using our DIY picnic package. It turned out beautifully. Thanks to Utopian Tea for hire of extra tea sets and high tea stands to cater for this event.
Good food, great company and fresh flowers completed this baby shower. I’m so happy it was everything and more that you had imagined. Thanks for letting us be part of this precious milestone. All the best for the birth of your beautiful baby.

The last couple of weeks things have been a bit quieter than normal while I have been moving house and anxiously waiting results from a biopsy to check for melanoma. Today I received the news that my mole was melanoma, however the results are promising as it has been detected
early and hasn’t spread deep under the surface of the skin. This has made me rethink life, my business and what matters most to me and that is my beautiful children. So I have decided to take a step back from picnics and once I am healed from my next procedure I am going to limit the number of bookings that I will be taking. Time is so precious, and life can change so quickly. I am so grateful that I decided to book a skin check because if I didn’t I would have never known that I had melanoma quietly growing on my body. If you haven’t had a skin check please do even if you don’t think you have any spots to worry about . Look after yourself and thank you so much for your understanding if I don’t get to your messages as quickly as what I normally would . All current bookings will still be going ahead as planned with the help of my beautiful children. Take care Karita
