NON TRADITIONAL RITUALS

Couples are really keen to push back against norms and craft the flow of their ceremony to feel good, connected, and deeply love-nourishing.

Some non-traditional rituals you might want to include
❤️Enter your ceremony together (as opposed to a traditional processional where one party is waiting for the other)
❤️ Circle ceremony (as opposed to family and friends sitting in rows)
❤️ Secret whispers (where you whisper something to each other, something that no one else gets to hear which is a moment just between you two in the ceremony)
❤️ Touching of hearts (connecting with each others hearts while making promises)

All of these have been done before, and each has created a vibe that was authentic and connected.

FLASH MOB DANCE FOR V-DAY TO COMBAT VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD
Every Valentine's day since 2012 One Billion Rising has been holding action to bring awareness to different issues of injustices that survivors often face.
The dance brings women together to shine a light on these staggering statistics: one in three women across the planet will be beaten or r***d during her lifetime. That’s ONE BILLION WOMEN AND GIRLS.

A gathering to learn the dance will be at soul fire dance studio (23/35 Merrigal road PMQ) this Saturday 11th Feb at 4.30pm. The Flashmob dance will be at Town Beach (Salty crew kiosk end) at 6.30 am Town beach on Vday/ 14th February (please dress in red).
