POV: when your ceremony LOOKS and FEELS this GOOD!!

One unspoken thing that I LOVE about my marrying couples is getting photos back of the wedding day and seeing just how much the couple are enjoying the ceremony.

As the celebrant I don't always get to see the couples reaction to my story telling but the photos never lie 🤍

I my biggest hope is that all my couples have these kinds of reactions in all aspects of their Cermeony ✨

In April this year I had the pleasure of marrying my cousin and her man with a beautiful elopement ceremony on her mum's property ✨

Ever been to a wedding where everyone starts looking around wondering...

"What's happening now?" 👀

Those awkward gaps don't happen because anyone has done something wrong. They happen because no one's guiding the flow.

As your MC, my job is to keep your reception moving naturally from one moment to the next.. welcoming your guests, introducing speeches, coordinating with your venue and photographer, and videographer, and chef, and DJ, and so many more, to make sure everyone knows exactly what's happening without it ever feeling forced.

And while I'm keeping the energy up, I'm also quietly keeping an eye on your run sheet. If timings shift (because they almost always do!), I'll work with your suppliers to make sure the important moments still happen seamlessly.

The result? A reception that feels relaxed, effortless and full of celebration... exactly as it should.

Ring bearers aren't just for kids anymore 💍

I've seen couples have their best mate, a grandparent, a sibling, even a surprise ring bearer and every single one made the ceremony feel a little more personal.

My advice? If it means something to you, it's worth considering.

With all the hype around Micro Weddings at the moment I wanted to re-share some beautiful photos from Kirilee and Josh's Micro Wedding in August 2025 💍

A beautiful heartfelt ceremony with little hints of humour sprinkled throughout was the perfect combo to match their energy 🤍

Turning to look at your guests at the start of the ceremony is one of my favourite moments because as the bride/partner 2, you arrive and are immediately thrown into the ceremony then photos.

Often this means you don't have a chance to see your guests until that brief congratulation kiss/cuddle post ceremony then later in the reception or cocktail hour.

Taking that small moment at the start of your ceremony allows you, the couple to look out at all your family and friends and see the happiness and excitement in their faces 🥹

Catching up pre ceremony to ease and nerves and sign the Declaration of No Legal Impediment is also the perfect time to release any worries or nerves, breathe and talk through what's about to unfold and also get hyped up!

Micro wedding ceremonies are just as beautiful as a 'full wedding's 💜

And with the right venue, vendors and styling team behind you, your micro wedding can be just as beautiful, fun and memorable as any other wedding 🤍
