We at Hunter Valley Catering are blessed with some of the best - we have amazing women in all roles of the business from kitchen hand to plating meals, from answering enquiries to providing our guests with a fabulous service experience AND of course all of those behind the scenes must be done jobs that keep the business running seamlessly.

Nick, Julie and their team were exceptional. Working on site with limited facilities, they smashed out the most amazing menu - canapes, entree’s, mains and dessert for our 70+ guests.
Their team worked seamlessly to ensure that all our guests were catered to, and all dietary requirements considered.
I absolutely recommend Hunter Valley Catering for your next event or special occasion. The whole process was painless, and Nick, with so many decades experience just knew what would work.

Frequently asked questions:

Are you able to cater to allergies and dietaries?
Yes! When finalising your booking we will ask you to provide a list of any allergies and dietaries for your guests. Our chefs will then be able to provide your guest/s a delicious alternative should your selected menu contain the allergen.

If I have a specific dish I want are you able to put it on the menu?
We have had many requests for particular dishes and flavour combinations. We will work with you to provide a delicious menu that exceeds your expectations.

Do you cater for children?
Yes, we have a separate children’s menu available.

Do you have minimum numbers?
Yes, we do have a minimum of 10 adult guests, or an alternative minimum spend. If you would like to know more, get in touch.

I am planning a large scale event, is this something you offer?
Yes, our experienced and dedicated team are able to cater large scale functions. We work with your event planner to ensure the day runs seamlessly and each guest is catered to.

Our venue doesn’t have a kitchen, can you still cater?
Yes, we are able to work from marquees, undercover spaces and can assist you with hire equipment to make it all possible.

What does the price include?
The price includes your discussed menu, chef and wait staff, and is based on the use of the kitchen, crockery and cutlery etc at your chosen venue.

It’s almost that time of year for one of our favourite annual events, Picking Day!

Picking Day is your chance to be a part of our 2025 vintage’s story, only open to members and their guests.

Our Cellarhand members will be starting the jam-packed day bright and early with a delicious breakfast cooked by our , then heading to one of our vineyards for the main event. 🍇

Morning tea will be canapes and a sneaky glass of bubbles, followed by the ancient winemaking method – !, a feast in the barrel room for lunch and a bocci tournament of champions.
