A quiet moment for B&D in a field of green.

Reflecting on the week that has been: turf has been laid, plants are in with more to be planted this week, and the last step, lighting will be up this week as well. These renovations feel a bit like Christmas, it’s been a long time coming and now all we have to do is decorate.

Elaine was one of our first brides to get ready for her wedding in the Homestead at Bunnyconnellen. I helped her carry her gown from her car when she was checking in, and I remember her excitement as we hung it up in the main bedroom and she hurriedly unzipped the garment bag - “Kate would you like to see my dress?!”

A wedding dress isn’t just for one day. You will wear it over and over again every time you look at your wedding photos. You will always be reminded of just how wonderful it made you feel on the day you married your one true love.

That’s the best thing about weddings. Every special little personal detail will hold a place in your memory forever.

Bunnyconnellen is a family-run function and events venue which sits on 250 acres of prime agricultural land nestled in the hills of the High Country just North of Crows Nest, Queensland.
