Beach weddings are rewarding, but they are tricky.
Too much sand, unruly wind that is unkind to hair, colourful passerby, it can be challenging...
But when you have 2 absolute Brazilian 10s like G&R plus the supernatural lenses of you can't go wrong, even when you get a weirdo like me as a celebrant who will try (and succeed) to make you laugh and cry the whole time.
Seriously, this wedding was a few months ago and I still have goosebumps remembering it. I try to keep my own emotions in check when I have a microphone in my hands, but the beauty of their story and the significance of the moment took the breathe out of my lungs and I couldn't hold the tears. It's the price I pay for wearing my heart on my sleeve and being as genuine as I can possibly be for my ceremonies. Good thing that G&R are not only ridiculously good looking, but also truly kind and embraced my emotion with their own. We kinda vibed together, you know? 😛 ❤️
I feel so unbelievably fortunate for earning the trust of so many cool people like them and privileged for having so many cool pictures of myself taken by some of the most talented people I've ever met.
I mean, just look at these pictures. Lia didn't just take pictures: she cast a spell, froze time and made it look like a poem. I will never not be in absolute awe when when facing such artistry.
