I have been delightfully busy lately. It is glorious wedding season and I’ve had the absolute pleasure of officiating in some beautiful weddings.
I love it when I know either partner as it makes it incredibly personal.

What a glorious day I had on Saturday, I officiated at Shane and Tiffany’s wedding out at Caversham House. I have known Shane and his family for many years so it was an absolute honour to be their celebrant.
The grounds at Caversham house are beautiful and it was the perfect venue for our gorgeous couple. Shane looked fabulous and Tiffany looked amazing. A beautiful heartwarming ceremony, attended by lovely family and friends. It is such a privilege for me to be involved. I have the best “job”!

I had a lovely time on Saturday officiating a wedding for Jacqui and Peter. It was at the scented garden in South Perth. This is the most magical venue, totally walled in with wisteria and other beautiful plants.
Jacqui looked stunning in a glorious satin gown and Peter was very handsome in his grey suit. They were so happy it was wonderful. A truly beautiful celebration of two wonderful people.
The ambience they created for their guests was very special. A really gorgeous day.

What a fabulous wedding. I had the absolute pleasure of officiating at Joanna and Scott’s wedding on Saturday at the North Perth town hall. I have known the brides family for many years so this made it a very special occasion. Jo looked incredible in a beautiful gown with a huge bow at the back , very classic and Scott looked very handsome in his suit. There was a wonderful group of guests and Jo’s mum , Julie had travelled from the Netherlands ( done two weeks quarantine) to be there. A truly fabulous day.

To all my lovely couples, I know it is a challenging time at present. You have made decisions to postpone your weddings. This is absolutely the correct thing to do. It shows that you have recognised the seriousness of this situation that we are all faced with.
I recognise that you have heavy hearts and there is a lot of distress and uncertainty, but your love for each other doesn’t change.
Look on it as an opportunity to be creative, resilient and inclusive, it is a time to reflect and know that with fortitude you will reschedule your wedding day and that we are all there to support you.
Your venue, caterers and who ever you have engaged to be part of your special day will work tirelessly to ensure everything will be very special for you, celebrate the change of date as a reflection of your resiliency. I look forward to seeing you all soon. Deb x

I had the absolute privilege of officiating at Lisa and Rohan’s wedding at Barrett lane in the swan valley recently. This was a very special wedding as I had taught nearly everyone in the bridal party! ( teaching has wonderful plus’s!)
Lisa looked glorious and Rohan fabulous, the entire bridal party looked beautiful.
The venue was excellent, very shady, stunningly laid out and very intimate.

Serendipity plays out a lot in my life, because of a chance meeting with one of my friends, this beautiful couple , Jing and Michael asked me to be their celebrant. What a glorious couple. They are so positive, full of life and are so in love.
The wedding was in Applecross on the river, in a beautiful marquee. Jing looked stunning and Mike was so happy he positively glowed. It was a wonderful ceremony and a great reception. An absolute privilege to be a part of this ceremony.

It’s wedding season and I love it!
I reconnected with a lovely friend from when the children went to primary school and she asked me to be her celebrant. Lin and Graeme got married at my place in a beautiful intimate ceremony. It was very special, a lovely group of family and friends. Lin looked gorgeous in pink and Graeme very handsome. It was a great celebration.

I had the most wonderful time yesterday being the celebrant for a gorgeous past student, Kirsty and her wonderful partner Duane. It is such an honour to officiate over a wedding when you have known the couple.
They chose the most beautiful venue, Chapel Farm in Henley Brook, so rustic and full of ambience.
Kirsty looked so beautiful and Duane so handsome. They are a great couple and I know they will have an incredible life together. So let the adventure begin.

I had the privilege of being the celebrant for a gorgeous couple yesterday. The lovely Tammy and awsome Jayde. The wedding was held at the Barn in Hopeland, a really great vintage style place.
There was much love at this ceremony and we did a ring warming ceremony which really gave guests the opportunity to infuse their best wishes and positive thoughts into the wedding rings.
Tammy looked beautiful in a glorious dress and Jayde looked fabulous in trousers and waistcoat. A truly loving ceremony.
