Kurt Carrera is an emerging Pop R&B artist with Filipino-born, Australian-raised roots, currently based in Boorloo (Perth), Western Australia. Over the past decade, Kurt has been captivating audiences with his live performances, steadily building a strong following within Perth’s vibrant music scene.

Among his career highlights, Kurt has performed at Optus Stadium during an AFL quarter-time show, showcasing his talent on a major stage. He has also shared the stage with acclaimed artists including Gabe Bondoc, Supathick and End of Fashion.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Anderson .Paak, Kurt’s sound blends contemporary pop with nostalgic R&B influences, delivering performances that are both polished and emotionally resonant.

Drawing on their Vietnamese and Indo-Chinese heritage, Linh & William bring a warm, culturally rich sensibility to their performances while delivering crowd-favourite acoustic covers from the 90s and 00s alongside timeless classics. Their versatile sound creates a relaxed, feel-good atmosphere that resonates across audiences and settings.

An unforgettable night of music, tradition and celebration, bringing together Perth’s largest Southeast Asian line-up in one vibrant evening.

Red symbolises luck, happiness and prosperity, so dress in red and immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere 🧧✨

🥡 Asian cuisine Food Trucks

🎸 4:30pm Linh & William (Vietnamese & Indo-Chinese) – Soulful acoustic harmonies and feel-good covers to gently open the evening

🏮 5pm Free Lantern-making for the kids with Chung Wah Association

🎸 5:30pm Flying Kik (Bhutanese) – Smooth vocals and rhythmic grooves with a modern, feel-good live sound

🎸 6:30pm Kurt Carrera (Filipino-Australian) – High-energy performances, powerful vocals and infectious beats

🦁 7:30pm Yaolin Kung Fu Dragon & Lion Dance Association – A spectacular lion dance performance combining battle drums, traditional choreography and breathtaking aerial pole work

🎧 8:00pm Lima Brightlove DJ set (Hainanese & Christmas Islander) – Confident, vibrant sets packed with universally loved tracks to close out the night

🧧 During the lion dance, guests are invited to take part in tradition by gifting a red packet (provided on the night, please add your money donation inside) to the lions as a symbol of prosperity and good fortune.
