Our beautiful new Community Centre, JHub, in Yokine is looking for set up and pack down crew for events . Duties may include: (full contract available on request)
• Setting up and packing down chairs, tables, and equipment
• Cleaning and tidying venue areas
• Wiping down chairs and tables as needed
• Setting up registration table/ welcome desk
Needed on Fridays for set up and occasional weekend work. Be part of our amazing JHub Events Team. We pay above award rate! Great job for someone looking for flexible hours. Please inquire at [email protected]

Once upon a time, the Gordon Bloomfield Hall served as our main function space; but with the creation of our beautiful new JHub, we’ve been able to give the hall a powerful new purpose.

We’re thrilled to announce, in collaboration with CSG, that the Maccabi Members Gym (the old Gordon Bloomfield Hall) is officially OPEN!

Honouring Memory Through Art: “In The Heart”

We are deeply honoured to share the permanent installation of a powerful new artwork at JHub - “In the Heart” by Andy Druyan.

This moving piece has been generously donated by the artist herself in memory of the Bibas family - Shiri and her two sons, Ariel and Kfir - who were brutally murdered in captivity following the atrocities of
October 7, 2023.
It also stands in remembrance of all those whose lives were tragically cut short on that day.

The artist, Andy Druyan, shared the following words about the piece:

“In The Heart” by Andy Druyan
Donated in memory of the Bibas family and all those affected by the atrocities of October 7, 2023. It stands as a tribute to their resilience, strength, and enduring spirit in the face of unimaginable loss.
Am Yisrael Chai.

Through this installation, we hope to offer a space for reflection, remembrance, and unity- a reminder that even in the darkest of times, our community continues to rise with courage and hope.

We sincerely thank Andy Druyan for generously gifting this piece to our community. 🕯️🧡
