Timelines.
The one important document that will keep your wedding running. Whether you’re doing it alone or have a coordinator you need a timeline, it helps your vendors stay on track and know when things need to be finished by. ALWAYS allow a buffer as you never know when hiccups will arise.
If you’re a bride of BA then we cover this, we create timelines for numerous events throughout the day, giving you the ultimate breakdown of time. We will work with you to create a pre wedding timeline, events the day before, bump in or simply just a hair and makeup timeline.
We also curate timelines up until the day after to help your venue and vendors with bump out schedules ensuring everything is completed in the allocated time.

This weeks Tuesday tip! PLAN B

Something we’ll go through if you choose us for coordination or planning.
You need a plan B, sometimes it can be hard to think about as the way you’ve planned your day is the way you want it.
However these unexpected things happen, things we cannot control, such as the weather. Rain, wind and scorching heat.
Or worse case someone becomes ill, a wedding is the time you need to think of worse case scenario and have something in place incase.

A little late this week.

Photo lists. Your photographer and coordinator will thank you if you’ve thought about this.
This makes sure you get all the photos you dream of and makes the most of the time you have with your photographer.
It can be what you want it to be, a list of names or groups. Or even just stating you want to be set up in the middle and a quick photo flash mob type arrangement.
This ensures no one is left out and your day is captured.

Hire the planner, it may not be us and that’s ok. We help you plan, allocate and stick to a budget. We have industry connections you otherwise wouldn’t be aware of, meaning we can put you onto a power house team of vendors, who we know work well together, are able to plan, design and execute seamlessly.
We are also your white flag, your Switzerland, common ground. Sure ask family and friends for input or suggestions but from us you’re not going to get a bias opinion.
Only a professional one stating pros and cons to anything brought to our table, however at the end of the day it’s your big day and we will help you execute the wedding of your dreams.

Your bridal party are all along for the ride with you. Allocate jobs to your party, not only will it help alleviate stress from you but it also helps bring the vibes as everyone is contributing.
Laying out the jobs means there’s no doubling up or missing out and the buzz it creates the night before and morning of is something else.

Oh the forever debate about inviting your future husbands second cousins, wife’s sister…… NO.
Invite who you want to invite. Haven’t seen a particular relative in years? Don’t feel obliged to invite them. Want your friend there but not particularly the boyfriend she’s had for 3 weeks? State that on the invitation. Your wedding is your wedding, your rules, play by them.

💜Personal Post💜

I don’t often share very openly about family things on my business page, however it’s not until something happens that you realise there isn’t enough awareness around it.
So here we are, in July last year my rock, backbone and number one supporter ended up in hospital. My mum had blacked out at work, which later was labelled a seizure. At the age of 50 she was diagnosed with EPILEPSY. It can happen at any age and your triggers do not have to be distinct. 1:25 People will be diagnosed in their lifetime.

For the month of March BA will be raising funds for all funds raised in WA stay in WA.

It’s not just being diagnosed with a disorder, it is now the constant list of specialist appointments, a full lifestyle change, daily medication, the fear of anything setting off a seizure.

It isn’t easy to be open and vulnerable, this is your reminder to be kind to everyone. Never take a moment for granted and hug those close to you. If you love someone let them know.

We will be participating in the purple walk 4 epilepsy on the 30th March and I would love your help in being able to hand over an amazing cheque to the foundation!
Anything helps💜 https://purplewalk4epilepsywa.com.au/page/ElliePaterniti

Much love,

Budgeting!
Your wedding is a BIG investment, it’s one day for a lifetime of memories.
Make it a priority when you start to sit down and set a budget. When looking at vendors it’s not a one size fits all. Everyone’s pricing is different, and everyone’s inclusions are different. Look at bang for your buck.
Will it enhance guest experience? Is it a non negotiable? Look at all your options. And don’t settle for the first price you get.

This Tuesday’s tip coming in hot from Ellie!

Having a DIY wedding? As helpful as it is that friend’s and family have said they’ll pitch in doing XYZ. Your wedding day is also guests experience.
If you have family that provides a service GREAT, however it’s still a good idea to look into a coordinator. They can help with all of the coordination between vendors, make sure everyone has dropped off the things they were responsible for and also ensure a smooth bump out. Your professional vendors will also have certain ways they like things done to ensure the best service is provided to you. Coordinators are also solely there for you on the day to calm your nerves and make sure you’re ready to marry the love of your life. Family need to be present with you not worrying about the next thing to happen.
