Grief is deeply personal. There’s no timeline, no right way to move through it, and definitely no rulebook. When we lose someone we love, it can feel like the ground shifts beneath us. Life keeps going, but everything feels different. And while they may be gone in body, they are never truly gone. They live on in our memories, our stories, our little quirks, and in the way they’ve shaped who we are.
A funeral or memorial isn’t a goodbye. It’s a see you later. A pause in time to honour a life, to gather in love and loss, and to feel close to someone who still feels very present. It’s a space to laugh, cry, remember, and reflect. For many, it’s also an important step in beginning to process grief together.
I’ve walked this road myself. I’ve experienced the loss of my dad, my best friend, my cousin, and family and friends who meant the world to me. I know how heavy it can feel, and I also know how powerful a meaningful farewell can be in helping the healing begin.
My role is to walk beside you through this tender moment. With care, empathy, and honesty, I’ll help create a ceremony that truly reflects the person you’re honouring. Whether that feels quiet and intimate, or filled with stories, music, laughter, and moments of light.
Because at the heart of it all, we’re celebrating a life, the love that was shared, and the legacy that continues on through everyone who knew them.
