Hey - party people! Last week, I announced my intention to run for the City of Joondalup Council. 🗳️ This week, I wanted to share a little more about my story and why this community means so much to me.

Joondalup has always been home. I grew up on Callistemon Street in Greenwood, attended Liwara Catholic Primary, played basketball at Warwick Stadium, and was part of the All Saints Parish and Greenwood Girl Guides.

Our community has shaped me — from cousins living nearby, to grandparents cared for locally, and countless memories at playgrounds, parks, and sporting events.

After living abroad and on the east coast, we returned and settled in Kingsley because I knew it was the perfect place to raise my children. My kids have been part of Dalmain Primary and Meerlinga Kindergarten in Kingsley, and Nido Early School in Greenwood, played footy for the Kingsley Cats, and spent hours at playgrounds — especially the Kingsley Pump Track. Now we’re back in Greenwood near where I grew up, full circle in this incredible community.

It’s because of all these experiences — and the amazing people I’ve met along the way — that I’m committed to giving back. And that’s where you come in!

Big news party people — I’m standing for the City of Joondalup Council in the 2025 Local Government election! 🗳️

After much thought, conversations with people I trust, and reflection on where I can best serve, I’ve decided to take this step.

I’m stepping up because I’m passionate about standing up for families like mine, supporting our local businesses, and building a safe, vibrant, and inclusive future for everyone in our community. Our family-friendly suburbs, our freedom to live, work, and play safely, and opportunities for the next generation are worth protecting and improving.

Joondalup has always been home to me — I grew up on Callistemon Street in Greenwood, attended Liwara Catholic Primary, played basketball at Warwick Stadium, and was part of the All Saints Parish and Greenwood Girl Guides. My family’s connection to the area runs through generations, and these suburbs hold countless memories for me. After time living abroad and on the east coast, we returned because I knew this was the perfect place to raise my children. I bring over 20 years of experience in business and philanthropy, including starting my own small business connecting families and friends to celebrate life’s special moments.
