At just 17 and 18 years old, the first day of a wild university orientation camp at Rottnest island formed the meeting place for Danielle and Calum. Rottnest Island is one of Danielle’s favourite places and it set the stage for Calum’s beachside proposal years later, with him even managing to throw Danielle completely off track by tricking her earlier in the day that he wasn’t quite ready for marriage. Choosing to embody a relaxed, bohemian style for their nuptials, Danielle and Calum’s wedding took place at Fortescue Golf Club in Newman out on the plush green lawn with 120 loved ones in attendance.
Danielle was an absolute vision in her Zolotas bridal two-piece, complete with a detailed crochet top and flowy muslin skirt. Calum and his groomsmen kept their ensemble fresh and summery with light tan chinos, linen shirts and some leather suspenders for the man of the moment. The festivities continued long into the night for the pair, with a buffet barbeque, endless dance music and gorgeous festoon lights. Photography helped eternalise the celebration with beautiful candid images in the gorgeous red dirt and bushland surrounds of Newman. A delayed honeymoon spent skiing in the South Island of New Zealand was the perfect start to forever for the couple.

After a chance meeting at university and a blissful decade together, Dana and Shyamal got engaged on their tenth anniversary and tied the knot at the magnificent in Caversham. Choosing a rustic bohemian theme for their big day the couple held their ceremony in the winery’s large barrel hall room and the reception in the venue’s Oak room. With no expectations and having a clear vision of their desired aesthetic, Dana and Shyamal found wedding planning a breeze, taking advice from their vendors and drawing inspiration from social media. Dana looked breathtaking in a hand-crafted ivory gown made with organic Greek cotton from with Shyamal handsomely matching in an ivory suit and tie. The bride’s bouquet was a mix of dried, preserved and faux florals – such a beautiful arrangement that Dana couldn’t bring herself to toss it to her guests. The couple started their first dance to ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri – tricking their guests – before reshuffling into the ever-beautiful classic ‘(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life’ by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, with an expert DJ carrying the party through with classic and dance hits that were the icing on the cake of this unforgettable celebration.

Dimity and Ethan’s love story began on Tinder when Dimity was living in Queensland and Ethan was in the remote town of Coral Bay, Western Australia. Separated by COVID-19
restrictions, they finally met in person in 2020. While shopping a few days after a relative’s wedding, Dimity and Ethan spontaneously talked about getting married. In that moment, they both agreed and Ethan bought a ring right away bringing their dream
to life. Living in the small town of Exmouth, the couple had limited options for wedding venues, however, they knew they wanted a ceremony on the beach on Ethan’s country.
Dimity’s inspiration was to blend traditional wedding elements with cultural values ensuring the ceremony reflected their heritage. They chose the stunning Ningaloo Reef in Exmouth, where the desert meets the sea, well known for its marine life. During the intimate ceremony, whales gracefully leapt in the background as they exchanged vows making this wedding truly one-of-a-kind. The reception took place at the local yacht
club, offering a laid-back, bohemian aesthetic with breathtaking beach views and a sunset backdrop. Dimity added emu - like feathers to her Zolotas dress as they are her tribal token while blue bridesmaid dresses and native flowers symbolised their connection to the ocean. Zolotas bridal also did a mini boho outfit for Dimity’s three-year-old with matching lace.

Shari and Joseph’s journey together began in a quirky way. Briefly crossing paths, it wasn’t until a “love at first spank” and memorable dance at a friend’s 30th birthday that they truly connected. Their relationship deepened at Vally Groove,
where Joseph secretly carried an engagement ring, proposing to Shari at the end of the night. Their wedding took place under a majestic oak tree at Lewana Cottages beautifully transformed into a magical portal by their florist and close friend, Lara Rose Bos. The ceremony was intimate, with 150 guests placing meaningful and loved items at the tree altar. Shari and Joseph invited guests to contribute in whatever creative way they wanted, whether it was playing music, helping set up or serving cocktails. It was this collective effort that made the day come together and with surprises around every corner, it was even more special. Shari wore a beautiful two-piece ensemble from Zolotas bridal while Joseph wore a cream suit with a vintage floral shirt. Looking for a less traditional style, Zolotas provided an unforgettable experience for Shari, making her feel comfortable in a stunning unique dress that matched her style perfectly. As Shari approached the altar, Joseph started to tear up as an overwhelming rush of love and energy filled the air. The reception was a lively celebration, including a Croatian Kolo dance led by the couple, brining everyone together in joyful unity.

🥰💖Working in the same government sector, Steph and Scott connected through a mutual friend’s post on Facebook. With sparks flying, the couple talked every day from then on, and, depending on who you ask, it wasn’t long before the couple were official. A romantic dinner on a cruise from Hawaii to Sydney was the scene of the proposal, though Steph initially thought Scott was gifting her a necklace! Despite a stressful planning process, the wedding itself was polished to perfection and looked as if it could have been lifted from a fairytale. The day was infused with emotion, with small tributes to Steph’s late mother. Annalise from Signature Floral Design provided a spectacular array of flowers to bring the couple’s vision to life in stunning shades of dark red, light pink and white. Ensuring the bride looked ethereal, Zolotas bridal crafted a beautiful unique gown that embodied Steph’s personality – an elegant halter-neck bodice with a ruffled skirt, while Scott looked smart in a white shirt, burgundy suspenders and bowtie – completing the look with a matching boutonniere. to see each other all over the globe, Ashmi moved across the world to live with Joel in Perth.
Five years later, Joel proposed where they had their third date, under the roar of Tukad Cepung Waterfall in Bali. Joel and Ashmi knew from the start that they wanted
their wedding to reflect their essence, and they did not want to go the conventional route. They envisioned getting married in Bali, deep in the Ubud jungle where they met — a place with so much meaning for them, as well as a place that would be easier
for international family and friends to gather. Their wedding planner, Diane, made it feel like a breeze to incorporate everything they love, including unique rituals. After Ashmi
walked down the aisle, the ceremony opened with an ethereal musical sound journey held by Jeremy Sol. Erica and Dimitri had two weddings! One in Perth and one in Melbourne.. they first met when they both were working fly-in fly-out at the Bluebird Mine. These kindred spirits began dating and in December 2019 Dimitri popped the question! The proposal took place at the gorgeous Chateau Versailles in France while the couple were enjoying an eight-week holiday across Europe. An ecstatic Erica immediately
said yes, and the pair arrived home in Australia newly engaged and soon-to-be parents! The wedding planning was a breeze as far as wedding planning gets, with Erica having smooth sailing bookings and coordinating with all her vendors. The day was held at Masonmill Gardens, and many of her vendors were recommended by the staff there, creating an easy and cohesive planning process. The wedding was a charming and sentimental occasion where the couple welcomed 65 guests to share in their connection. The reception leant into Dimitri’s Greek heritage, with plate smashing that created fun and joy for everyone.

The star of Erica’s day was her dress from Zolotas Bridal Couture. She says Sophie was a dream to work with, and it was only the fourth dress she tried on that she decided to lock in. Finding that perfect dress that made her feel beautiful and like herself was the cherry on top of a fantastic day!

After eight wonderful years together, Keira and Nic never needed a formal engagement to confirm their commitment… marriage was always a matter of when! Choosing the charming tasting room at Millbrook Winery for their special day, they exchanged vows in front of the venue’s enchanting fireplace, surrounded by an intimate gathering of their closest loved ones.

Keira chose a breathtaking Greek-inspired dress from crafted from exquisite organic cotton lace woven with gold thread that shimmered in the light. She completed the look with an ivory veil adorned with a matching gold lace trim. Nic paid homage to his Scottish roots with a dapper tweed jacket, perfectly paired with a gold bowtie to complement the wedding’s warm, elegant theme.

Keira is a creative soul and handcrafted many of the decorations herself, including the unique bridal party bouquets—glass lanterns filled with fairy lights and foliage from her own garden. Their two-year-old son, Antoine, played a special role in the ceremony, making the occasion not just a wedding, but a heartfelt celebration of the life and love their little family had already built together 💫

After chatting for a few weeks on a dating app, a beautiful Port Beach meeting was the start of something magical for Kelly and Kate. The stars aligned when the couple connected the dots and realized Kate was currently looking after Kelly’s nan, which made her fall for her even harder! Two beautiful, separate proposals – one from each partner… and the planning began 🎉

Intending for their wedding to feel like a festival, Kelly and Kate opted for a boho-style wedding at Fremantles , where glorious couches and picnic spreads negated traditional chairs and tables. In front of 100 loved ones, Kelly and Kate had each of their parents walk them to the ceremony entrance before the pair walked down the aisle hand in hand. The elegant, boho style of made the perfect gown options for the pair with Kate sporting a gorgeous crop-top and fringe pants with a cascading train, while Kelly wore a handmade, beautiful high-neck gown with stunning details on the bodice.
Opting to sway from as many formalities as possible, the couple elected to have a glorious Krispy Kreme donut tower in lieu of a traditional cake and mixed up the father-daughter dance to also include their mothers in the middle of the song. The couple did a lap of Tasmania for their honeymoon, indulging at wineries, hiking and enjoying every minute together.
