💙The artwork on Bilya Café tells the river's ancient story.

Western Australian Noongar artist Linda Lee Loo created "Our River, Our Meeting Place" - visible right on the café's exterior. Through her design, Linda depicts the meaning of this riverside location to her ancestors and its ongoing significance today.

Next time you're grabbing coffee at Bilya Café, take a moment to appreciate this beautiful storytelling in Burswood Park.

Watch Linda speaking about her artwork.

⚡️🎆🎊 Perth Festival is returning to Burswood Park this February. ⚡️🎆🎊

We're proud to host one of the stunning Karla Bidi installations – a beacon of light, storytelling, and connection.

Inspired by the Noongar tradition of lighting fires to greet and guide visitors, Karla Bidi (meaning Fire Trail) transforms the rivers of Perth into an illuminated pathway. As you pass through the beautiful Burswood Park, you’ll discover one of these beacons, created by First Nations artists Ilona McGuire, Jacob Nash, Chloe Ogilvie, and Ian Moopa Wilkes.
